### 2/5 — Poor quality content

*2024-03-10, version 2.1.6*

Seems like it was thrown together. Poor Ux and poor quality content.

### 2/5 — Nett aber fehlerbehaftet und zu teuer

*2023-12-12*

### 2/5 — Nette Idee schlecht umgesetzt

*2023-07-15*

Hab mein Abo dann sofort wieder gekündigt.

### 2/5 — Waste of money if you didn’t just give birth

*2023-03-26, version 2.1.6*

I love the concept, but if you’re already even a couple months postpartum, it’s not helpful. It looks great in the first week, but then nothing changes for three weeks at a time, and it’s only an 18 week program. Buy a gym membership instead if you’ve got money to burn and look up some stretches on Pinterest.

### 1/5 — Money taken without permission

*2022-05-30, version 2.1.3*

I absolutely love the wonder weeks but have decided to review this sister app due to the seriously poor customer service and unethical practice. The “free 7 day trial” is disingenuous and I was charged for a subscription immediately even though I cancelled a day into the trial. The customer service then took forever to respond to me, replying that it was the fault of Apple and I’ve since heard nothing. I doubt I’ll see my money for a pretty pricey app, nor will I use it as the content as it’s pretty disappointing in comparison to other postpartum and well-being programmes. Avoid!

### 2/5 — Glitchy with bad UX

*2022-05-26, version 2.1.3*

The information shared in this app feels unreliable and doesn't link to studies or research its suggestions are based on. Poor UX makes scrolling through the different cards confusing about which is meant for your current stage. I'm also unsure why my delivery date was over two weeks ago but the app seems stuck on Week 1 features. Finally, when I tried to elevate this question to cuatomer service within the app, I was simply met with a dead end error message.

### 1/5 — Not a good app at all

*2022-04-29, version 2.1.3*

When you use The Wonder Weeks app and see that there is an app for postpartum recovery you get very excited. However, unfortunately unlike The Wonder Weeks app this app has so many flaws. Although I have completed numerous workouts throughout the week even more than the three required none of them have been marked down and even though it’s been over a week the app still thinks that I am on week one. I also began my journey eight months postpartum with this app. Instead of asking or putting a questionnaire to see where I am physically for this app it’s immediately assuming I just had a baby yesterday. So all of the work that I have already done I’m being set back in time. For an app that is as expensive as it is expected to perform very well and to be tailored to me and not just a blanket app for all people. I definitely do not recommend paying for this app whatsoever. Download a Sweat app or look up Megsquats and buy her postpartum recovery program.

### 1/5 — As an OB, I’m appalled.

*2022-04-28, version 2.1.3*

I downloaded this app as an adjunct to my Wonder Weeks app, where they offered a time-sensitive deal to purchase a year subscription at half off, only to find out that I cannot even access the app until after I deliver and they will not, even after reaching out to customer service, extend my purchase to be able to accommodate my actual postpartum phase. Because I’m trying to be proactive, I’m still about 6 months away. So while I bought “a year at half off” I will only be able to use the app for 6 months. As an OB, I I know how often my patients are asked to buy things that they don’t need, and trying to navigate how best to spend their money on the seemingly endless things surrounding their birth and postpartum experiences. Now as an expectant mother myself, I’m exploring options available to me and my patients, and I’m learning things that are good and bad to recommend to them. One of the most important things is knowing that they will have the support they need if anything goes wrong or falls outside of their expectations. I will certainly not be recommending my expectant mothers to an app that uses truly the absolute worst predatory business practices. Big dislike.

### 1/5 — Disappointing App and Customer Service

*2022-04-06, version 2.1.3*

As a user of the Wonder Weeks app and a first time mom anxious to get her body back, I enrolled for the free trial of this app. In the seven day period I navigated through their content and found that much of it is audio- or video-based and requires a 30-40 minute commitment which I just don’t have time for. Additionally, the narrators voice was robotic and unpleasant. I forgot to cancel by the 7th day and was charged for the year. I emailed the app requesting a reimbursement for my mistake on the 9th day and was told that because I didn’t cancel in time I couldn’t be reimbursed. Their message of support seems hollow, as their business model clearly hinges on hooking new moms desperate to get their bodies back with a free trial and then counting on their sleep deprived brains to forget to cancel. I love the Wonder Weeks app but am beyond disappointed by the hypocrisy and content of this app.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work when using code

*2022-04-04, version 2.1.3*

I bought the book and tried to register and login. For some reason it says there’s an error. I tried to contact support on the app and it forces me to register again. App doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Schlechter Support

*2022-03-30*

Daher keine Kaufempfehlung!

**Developer response:** Wir würden gerne herausfinden, was los ist.

### 1/5 — Unable to transfer to wife’s phone

*2022-03-13, version 2.1.3*

I was testing various apps for my wife and purchased a subscription to Back to You on my phone.

Family sharing does not work and she cannot use the premium subscription on her phone.

No support for user accounts to login, restore purchase,…

In app support request errors out and I am unable to send the team any message. Hence the one star.

### 1/5 — Testphase kostet trotzdem 30€

*2022-02-07*

Viel Text, wenig dahinter. Schade.

### 1/5 — A waste of money

*2022-01-31, version 2.1.2*

Was optimistic that this app would be as great as the wonder weeks but it’s extremely buggy and not worth the money. Save yourself and find another app that will you postpartum

### 1/5 — What a shame!!

*2022-01-23, version 2.1.2*

I downloaded this app because I love the wonder weeks app. I was shocked to find that I could not acces A SINGLE thing without making a monthly payment. The only thing I could do is make a profile. I am so annoyed with this app because I couldn’t even find out whether I truly liked it or not because I could not get into anything.

### 1/5 — You need it subscribe

*2022-01-06, version 2.1.2*

I downloaded this app after buying the ‘leaps’ version for my baby. However, although this is free to download you have to subscribe to use any of the features. Yes there is a 7 day free trial, but I do not intend to fully subscribe so no point. Shame it just doesn’t point that out before waisting time downloading it. Don’t bothered unless you want to pay the monthly subscription.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor content and terrible value for money

*2025-01-11, version 2.1.6*

The app pretends to personalise content to the type of birth, but it does not.
The contents are very basics tips and exercises that you can find for free on the web.
A very basic exercise programme is included, only that sometimes exercises lack explanations, some fundamentals info is missing (for example when to breathe in and when to breathe out) and it’s not clear since the before the start of the exercise what equipment you need.

### 1/5 — Nicht durchdacht

*2023-07-17*

### 1/5 — No Captions!

*2023-07-03, version 2.1.6*

Unusable for those who are hard of hearing.

### 1/5 — Pointless without subscription

*2023-06-07, version 2.1.6*

I found this from getting the wonder weeks app, and thought it might link to the paid app, but you can’t open anything without having a subscription. Quite irritating.

### 1/5 — Overpriced, no refund

*2023-05-26, version 2.1.6*

I found the information not useful as there was no way to tailor it to my specific situation. Couldn’t figure out how to cancel and wrote to their help desk before the deadline… they wrote to me after the deadline and said I now could not cancel since I had missed the deadline! $30 for an app I don’t need. Skip downloading this and see an in-person physical therapist after giving birth

### 1/5 — 1 star for existing - 🤞 it improves

*2023-01-03, version 2.1.6*

I work with startups and am a first time mom as of 9/1/2021. My birth and PP recovery was traumatic and lonely. There was SO much info for pregnancy and then for baby - “Wonder Weeks”, What to Expect”, “Huckleberry”, “Expecting Better” etc but data supported and tracked PP information was virtually non existent. I had to dig through forums, text friends of friends, mine podcasts like “The Longest Shortest Time”. The closest thing I found to a reflection of reality in the media came from Netflix’s “The Let Down”. All this to say, I was dreaming up an app like WW or Huckleberry for PP and found that you WERE working on something and here it is. I was excited. Unfortunately it was a let down. And not the good-to-latch-onto kind (Mom pun intended). Without warning a video started playing - a terrible function for people who probably JUST got a baby to shut its eyes. This didn’t make me want to try the free trial. Who ran the beta testing? What research is being used? I would LOVE to help grow this concept. Right now it feels like a somewhat out of touch self help app still WAY to hung up on mommy *bouncing back* than the support system - maybe even lifeline it could be. Please tell me who I can chat with. I’m US based. SF/Silicon Valley. I’m not a VC but I truly want to help. I’ve even followed your LinkedIn in hopes your expanding the team. I’m a huge advocate now for PP people and THIS app is SO needed. There’s a huge hole in the market, but as it stands, this app can’t fill it.

### 1/5 — Can’t choose due date.

*2022-12-24, version 2.1.6*

The calendar won’t let me choose my due date. It keeps reverting back to todays date.

### 1/5 — Dauerhaft in Woche 1

*2022-12-19*

### 1/5 — App blocked on the first few weeks

*2022-06-27*

The app is blocked on the first few weeks, wrote twice, no answer back. And it was expensive! Such a rip off…

**Developer response:** Hi, we would love to find out what's wrong, send us an email so we can fix it for you! support.ios@thewonderweeks.com

Perfekt für jeden

### 5/5 — Einfach Klasse!

*2021-08-09*

**Developer response:** Hi there, it is always nice to see a kind review!

Kind regards

### 5/5 — Tolle und hilfreiche App

*2021-07-13*

**Developer response:** Your kind review is appreciated :)

### 5/5 — Absolutes must-have für jede Mami

*2021-07-09*

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind review and keep enjoying the app!

Kind regards,
Marin

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2021-07-04, version 2.0.1*

Great app and also the book!

### 5/5 — Super

*2021-05-18*

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words, they are highly appreciated!

### 4/5 — How to contact app support?

*2025-03-16, version 2.1.6*

Any idea how to contact app support? I registered the book but I am unable to sign in with the email and password in the app. The support link is not working.

### 3/5 — Excellent idea, Poor execution

*2022-10-02*

This app brings together all the topics one needs to recover postpartum, but does a really poor job of educating on them ie Bad posture can delay recovery- yes, obviously, can you give me a picture with anatomy to illustrate What Bad Posture Is??? Otherwise it’s like having educational material that says Poor diet can lead to weight gain, but it never tells you: these are the food items which define a poor diet when consumed in excess. Good first draft, I’d love to see v2.0

### 2/5 — Room for improvement

*2025-08-15, version 2.1.6*

I love the concept of this app but the copy and insights need to be buttoned up. Some of the articles feel like they weren’t edited by a professional writer and for a paid program, it doesn’t feel polished enough.
