## What is The Word?

Ask a question. Find what Scripture says.

The Word searches the King James Bible by meaning, not just keywords. Ask "What does the Bible say about worry?" or "How do I forgive someone who hurt me?" and find the passages that speak to it, every verse drawn straight from the KJV text, never paraphrased, never generated. Or look up any passage directly by reference in an instant.

SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES, ALWAYS FREE
- Ask a question in your own words and find the passages that speak to it
- Look up any passage directly by reference, including abbreviations (Jn 3:16, II Tim 1:7)
- Ask by voice: tap the microphone and simply speak your question
- Full passage text with topic labels, always free, no caps
- Verse of the day, refreshed every morning
- Adjustable reading text size for comfortable reading at any age
- Save passages and write personal notes, kept private on your device
- Share verses and study notes through any messaging app
- A daily verse notification at the time you choose
- Sign in quickly with Google or Apple

GO DEEPER WITH STUDY TOOLS (subscription)
- Historical context: who wrote it, to whom, and the circumstances behind the words
- Passage summary: a plain-language summary of what the passage says
- Original language: the Hebrew and Greek behind key words, drawn from verified scholarly sources (STEPBible and OpenScriptures), never AI-invented
- Clickable cross-references with inline verse popouts

BUILT WITH REVERENCE
Scripture is never behind a paywall. Search, reading, saving, and notes are free forever. The optional study layer uses AI to assist your understanding, but every verse you read comes from our KJV database. The AI can point to Scripture, never speak for it. Study notes are clearly marked as aids to reflection, meant to be tested against the full counsel of Scripture.
