### 5/5 — Uplifting community & safe exercise space

*2024-04-10*

This is the most uplifting chronic illness community I have ever found. The community has truly become my online family. I love all the resources and connections. And of course all the exercise videos are great! The Zebra Club (TZC) is the #1 thing that has helped me get back on my feet after a long flare. With the exercises and TZC’s motto “go low & slow” I have slowly brought strength and stability to my otherwise very hypermobile and POTSie body!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback. We do value our wonderful community so much. The best community in the world! Thanks for being a part of it.

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-04-08, version 4.29.1*

Really good exercises with easy to follow videos and good podcasts.

### 5/5 — The best thing for my health in 20 years

*2024-03-22, version 4.29.1*

I love how clear the videos are, and the ability to work at my level and finally to have found something that actually works for me. The focus is on feeling safe to move, and not about doing something perfectly but about exploring how to be in your body with less pain and use less energy.

What a positive supportive community - there to support and celebrate with each other. And you can join others doing the same video by zoom at various times of the day often meeting people in other continents at the same time.

Monthly members meetings are often talks from the most amazing practitioners / experts in hypermobility and some other field. Or a chance to ask questions of Jeannie. I’ve learned so much on so many levels. Plus I can watch talks from before I joined. I am astounded at the quality of speakers. Very knowledgeable in their subjects and in the effects of hypermobility on their specialist area. It blew my mind when I first realised how much hypermobility affects more than just joints. If you have HSD or hEDS especially then it’s an amazing resource.

But most of all I’ve learned what safe movement feels like, not by focusing on a single muscle group or joint in isolation but in my body as a whole. This for me is an absolute revolution. Where as physio has always caused me huge flare ups, the holistic nature of working in the whole body in a low and slow gradual way has been so helpful. It’s more than movement, it’s feeling your body and discovering you can use it better with less energy and with more kindness.

My only regret… that I didn’t join sooner!

### 5/5 — A must if you are a zebra

*2024-03-03, version 4.29.1*

Sooooo good. Even better than my physio !

### 5/5 — It’s giving me ME back

*2023-10-29, version 4.22.2*

I had been fed up with my chronic pain for years. Pretending it wasn’t there and putting on a brave face, normalising it. Down the rabbit hole of research I came across Jeannie and The Zebra Club. I had no idea it would be so very helpful. It’s given me direction, a plan, progress, and now I understand the causes of the pains around my body. I feel I am making progress well and I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend this to people with hypermobility or EDS.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2023-10-08, version 4.22.2*

Excellent app for EDS sufferers. Safe exercises , learning and community. So grateful I found it.

### 5/5 — Life changing app

*2023-07-06*

This is an amazing group of support and exercise programs for people just like me with hEDS. No one else really gets it, but Jeannie does. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Hypermobility Relief!

*2023-06-28*

My diagnoses of Hypermobility EDS at age 58 sent me searching for relief from the constant pain I’ve had for years. Luckily I found this app. The exercises, meditations, videos with physicians and experts, monthly online meetings with others all over the world and community of others that provide daily support are priceless if you are living with Hypermobility, POTS, EDS, and other related issues. It’s medication in an app.

### 5/5 — I am so thankful for this app

*2022-12-12*

I cannot rate this app highly enough. I searched for solutions to my pain and autonomic issues for decades and finally Jeannie’s method has me feeling low pain and anxiety and sleeping well. The community is very supportive and positive, and this social support is also integral to my health. Jeannie recently added meditations and reformer classes. The app keeps getting better.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this wonderful feedback. Yes, we are constantly improving our experience and adding new content.

### 5/5 — Elhers Danlos & hypermobility BIBLE it’s awesome

*2022-11-08, version 3.64.3*

The instructor is very well educated and current in her research and the community is supportive and kind.
There is no better app on the market.
I highly recommend 5 stars all the way 🥰

### 5/5 — Jeannie is our Yoga with Adrienne

*2022-07-10*

TZC has been the greatest resource, community, and support system I could have asked for throughout my diagnostic process. I’m so grateful to Jeannie. Her cues are like she’s in the room with you, and there are classes for every day and every level.

**Developer response:** Wow, what an amazing endorsement. Thank you. We are delighted to hear your experience on our app.

### 5/5 — Life changing app

*2022-05-18, version 3.48.7*

This app is incredible, it has helped
me learn how to move pain free and how to understand what is best for my hypermobile body. Thanks for such a good mix of classes x

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No trial period

*2024-04-01*

I setup an account (email/password) and it takes you directly to the billing screen with no indication there is a trial period. The person responding to other reviews states that there is one but either there isn’t, or if there is, it does not come up and they need to fix the glitch where it doesn’t show up. There are monthly and yearly options and that’s it, and yes i read all the information on the screen. I won’t be trying this app until a subscription is offered because the price is steep when you have no idea what you’re getting.

### 1/5 — Hard Pass

*2024-01-01, version 4.25.3*

It’s disappointing that you’re required to pay before you’re able to even enter the app. Finding legitimate help managing hEDS is impossible. The fact that the developers require payment first indicates that they themselves do not suffer from Ehlers, this is a hard pass.

### 1/5 — Help

*2023-04-24*

I absolutely love this app and everything it’s doing for me BUT I had someone steal my card info (not bc of the app) and had to get a new card. Well I thought since I added the new card to my apple wallet and removed the old one that it would automatically update the payment info for subscriptions, apparently not, ok fine no biggie, I updated it. Unfortunately the app won’t recognize that I’ve updated the payment info. It’s forced me to subscribe 5 times or so now and if I close the app I’m “not subscribed” again. Zebra club is listed as an active sub in my subscriptions list in my settings app now so everything should be good but unfortunately it’s not. So I logged out of the app and now it won’t let me log in, it wants me to subscribe again and set up a new profile, at this point I’m not gonna do that bc I’m afraid there’s gonna be multiple $16 charges I can’t afford show up on my account. When I went to app help there’s no option for a problem like this. Please help, I need this app, I cannot work due to my disabilities and cannot afford being accidentally overcharged due to a glitch. This app is wonderful and truly helpful but this is really upsetting and I need to do my exercises, if someone could please get in touch with me I’d really appreciate it

### 1/5 — Wow it’s expensive

*2021-12-29, version 3.48.7*

And no free trial or anything. The sound button on the intro vid doesn’t even work which doesn’t bode well for app reliability. Most fitness apps will give you a 7 day free trial or else have one series of videos that are free to everyone. Not great to prey on economically vulnerable populations.

### 2/5 — mixed

*2025-09-29*

The founder really knows her stuff and the app offers many amazing resources and ways to connect with community. The main chat skewed more supportive than actually helpful and I got badly injured after a virtual (gentle) workout. It may still be worth checking out for anyone newly diagnosed, but if you struggle with proprioception I’d avoid the exercise section entirely.

### 4/5 — Great resource, but

*2026-04-15*

it’s very hEDS and white centered on the app. I enjoyed the resources but I ultimately left because the community was unrelatable as a hispanic person with aEDS. I was hoping to feel less alone as we all benefited from the amount of resources available on the app and gain a sense of community but I felt just as alone and isolated on the app as I do off the app.

### 4/5 — Totally worth it!

*2025-02-12*

Pros: catered specifically for people with hEDS but can absolutely help anyone, Jeannie is a master at cueing so you’re doing her movement correctly for your body, chat spaces are almost always helpful and always supportive, lots of saved and updated resources,

Cons: sometimes toxic positivity leaks into the supportive community, sometimes toxic diet culture leaks into posts, requests for more subgroups are not acknowledged

Overall this is an extremely useful and helpful app for people with EDS and I would recommend it to anyone with the caveat that you may have to avert your eyes from some content.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this feedback - we are so delighted you are enjoying the app. Please do email us at hello@thezebra.club to discuss the sub-group issue. We do try and accommodate requests if there is a need in the community.

### 4/5 — Supportive Community

*2024-10-17, version 4.45.1*

Very grateful to this community for all the support, as well as the exercises & movements that help me stay active in all the right ways. Thank you, Jeannie!

### 4/5 — Amazingly helpful in navigating EDS

*2024-02-25, version 4.29.1*

A wealth of information, exercises, and community that helps me so much. Worth every penny of membership. I’d love to see the ability to download meditations etc to use offline when I have no internet connection.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-18, version 5.3.1*

Gather with your fellow Zebras and learn how to feel better in your body. Exercises, a platform to chat and more!

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Recommended trying this first before traditional PT

*2026-04-28*

I made the mistake of trying traditional PT before this and only had some very limited improvement in some areas but was worse in others.

The app itself isn’t great but following the slow gentle approach given has made an improvement in my quality of life.

### 5/5 — Most helpful resource!!!!

*2025-12-21*

Far & away the most helpful resource I’ve found since being diagnosed. The new app layout makes navigating much clearer and easier. The Expert webinars in Learn & Grow section gives access to knowledgeable professionals (hard to find!) The exercises are the best! They enable me to keep going. Community support top notch!

### 5/5 — Save Money. The Best Cues.

*2024-12-29*

This app is going to save me so much money! I have spent thousands of dollars on in-person physical therapy with an hEDS specialist and they are great, but after one month of using this app, I made mental and physical connections I didn’t make in two years with my PT. Getting instruction from someone who has hEDS is more important than I would have thought. Because Jeannie’s body is hypermobile she can show examples of how not to do it. And her verbal cues make so much sense because she knows what it feels like! After three months of The Zebra Club I have reduced my in-person PT from once a week to once a month. And there are no words to describe the community of supportive people here. It’s a community of people with EDS who are actively and successfully improving their minds and bodies, therefore it’s so much more positive and uplifting than most online spaces. I had initially signed up for the monthly plan, but quickly switched over the lifetime plan. Best money I’ve spent in years!

**Developer response:** This is absolutely wonderful. We are so delighted to hear your feedback. And welcome to our Lifetime Membership!

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2024-12-03*

Finally, someone understands the pain and struggles of living with hEDS and more importantly knows how to fix it. I started 3 months ago and am now living pain free. Never thought I’d see the day.

**Developer response:** This is wonderful news - we are so delighted The Zebra Club has had such a massive impact on you.

### 5/5 — I’m so thankful

*2024-09-16*

Im so grateful this hyper-mobility/EDS community app has been developed. It’s a safe place with like-bodied and like-minded people that are so helpful. It offers such diversity. I love the community chats, the classes, programs, lectures….it’s the real, full deal.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear you are benefiting from our app.

### 5/5 — Game changer for me

*2024-07-29*

Recently diagnosed with hEDS. Had years of getting injured doing workouts and not improving in Pt. Jeannie DiBonne helps me understand why. Her workouts are actually working for me. I thought it would be slow and boring, but I actually feel better and have a “good hurt” with her explanations and guidance. I wish my pts and fitness trainers would study her. She’s taught me to go low and slow. That the breath is the core stabilizer. That proprioceptive exercises help my body understand how it’s supposed to move. I’m finally getting the instruction book for what works to get my body moving properly now. Would recommend this app to anyone who has no clue what to do after a hyper-mobile diagnosis. Worth every penny. The community is incredibly helpful too!

**Developer response:** Thank you for this fantastic feedback. We are delighted to hear how much benefit you are getting from our app.

### 5/5 — I had all but given up on exercise

*2024-06-16*

I have a dozen different pain related diagnoses. I had all but given up on exercise since it inevitably caused a pain flare. I have had this app for a month or more and the exercises are easy to do and don’t hurt. She even has things that you can do to help with sleep. There’s a forum to talk with other EDSers. It’s just a phenomenal app. If you’re hypermobile you need this app.

**Developer response:** Wonderful - thank you for this feedback and being a part of our community.

### 5/5 — Impactful

*2024-06-04, version 4.36.1*

Such an easy and informative way to get connected to those who struggle the same :,)

### 5/5 — Thank you for creating this app

*2024-04-21, version 4.32.1*

I’m coming from a v low place exercise wise & was worried about hurting myself and being pushed too far. However I didn’t need to worry. Jeannie has created an atmosphere of starting where you’re at however low that is and how it’s important not to push. This is very unlike any exercise based therapies I’ve ever done. I am in control always & this helps me to feel safe. The app is really easy to use and well done. It has a helpful forum where questions can be asked to such a lovely supportive community. Thank you for creating this app and all the resources on it.
