Join the movement! The TheaterEars app allows you to watch new release films at the movie theater in Spanish. Simply load the app select your movie, showtime and language to get the movie track on your phone. When you arrive at the movietheater, TheaterEars will sync to the movie through your phone's microphone and then play the full movie soundtrack in your chosen language. For millions, cine en Español, is now within reach without the barriers of language.

No funciona. Van varias veces que lo quiero usar para ver la película en el cine y me dice que NO ESTÁ PERMITIDO GRAVAR. La opción es: Cancelar o Volver a empezar y aún así no sale de ahí. No deja avanzar. Este es mi segundo año contratando el servicio; el primer año, no tuve ningún problema, pero este año solo una vez y con trabajo pude conectarme. Quisiera saber si pueden reembolsar el pago que se hizo por un año. Ya que no se conecta como debería de ser.

Aunque es una gran ventaja para el público latino residente en Estados Unidos por la cuestión del idioma, aún le falta una mejoría en la calidad de audio al momento de reproducir la película y los detalles de los efectos visuales quedan en el olvido. Agradezco que sean la única app que nos brinda esta oportunidad pero sé que podrían mejorar aún más 💪🏽

This app works pretty well for superhero movies and children’s movies. It might freeze in the middle of the movie and have to be re-linked, but it usually syncs back up fairly well.  It does not have much when it comes to movies for grown-ups or indie films. 🙄
