## What is thecompanion?

thecompanion is a focus timer built around one idea: starting is the hardest part, so make it as simple as possible.

write one task. pick a time, or set your own with the rolling picker. tap just start. that's it.

while you work, a small companion sits with you, breathing, blinking, quietly there. no roaming animations, no distractions, just a steady presence during your session.

WHAT'S INSIDE
— A one-tap focus timer with 15, 25, 45, and 60 minute presets, or any custom length from 5 to 120 minutes
— A companion character that breathes and blinks through every session
— Streaks and daily stats to track your focus over time
— A running task list, with completed tasks marked and dated automatically
— Five hand-picked color palettes, from bold red and yellow to dark mode
— Dynamic Island and Lock Screen support, so your countdown (and companion) follows you everywhere
— A home screen widget showing your current task and time remaining
— Pause and resume right from the Lock Screen
— Full landscape support

No clutter, no noise, just you, a task, and a little company while you focus.
