## What is TheDex?

TheDex is the companion app you keep open while you play — not a reference book you check once and close.

Track your Pokédex:
Mark Pokémon caught as you find them. Your next target is always front and center, so you never lose track of what to catch next. Pull up the full detail view for stats, abilities, evolution chain, and catch locations without leaving your game.

Build your team:
Create and name multiple teams per game. The auto-suggest engine builds a type-balanced team of final evolutions and shows you the full catch/evolution path for each member. Compare teams side by side to spot shared weaknesses before they cost you a battle.

Know your types:
Full attacking and defending type chart. Tap any type to see exactly what it beats and what beats it. The Move Calculator lets you check damage multipliers for any single or dual-type matchup on the fly.

TheDex Pro — $4.99, one-time
Unlock the full companion experience:
• Multiple teams per game with team naming and comparison
• AI-powered team suggestions (iOS 26+, on-device)
• Shiny Hunt Tracker with encounter counter and odds
• Nuzlocke Mode with route tracking and alive/fainted status
• Dex Coverage: cross-game availability and shopping list
• Home screen widgets: progress ring and team display

No subscription. No ads. Pay once, own it forever.

TheDex is an independent fan app and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company International.
