## What is TheFieldNikko?

The Field: Nikko's Journey is the official companion app to the book by Herb Perez and Nikko Perez.

Follow 11-year-old Nikko as he learns that soccer — like every worthwhile path — is not something you can copy from someone else, even someone you love.

This app brings the book to life with five powerful tools for young players:

CHAPTERS
Unlock all 10 chapters as you read. Each chapter includes the full koan, the parable summary, the lesson, and the Talk About It question. Complete each chapter to unlock the next one and track your journey from beginning to end.

WORKBOOK JOURNAL
Every chapter has a workbook with three reflection prompts — straight from the book. Write your answers, save them, and watch your journal grow as you move through Nikko's story. Your words. Your journey.

TRAINING LOG
Log every practice session with focus area, duration, star rating, and notes. Watch your total training hours grow over time. Every session counts.

GOALS
Set short-term and long-term goals with target dates. Check them off as you achieve them. The best players know where they are going — and they write it down.

DAILY QUESTION
Every day a koan from the book appears on your home screen. A single question to carry with you. Let it work on you.
