### 3/5 — I use it but…

*2026-09-03, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

I’ve used the Grint for about five years. I have the pro version. Recently, I thought I would take a look at the information stored, run it through an AI and get some help with my game. It turns out you can’t get any of the information you record. all that data From the course scores and shot did you enter is not available. And the tools that Grint has to analyze the data are very specific and limited. I feel like for the pro version, It should be simple to download the data. So I like the Grint for ease of use (yardage, score input, etc) and automatic score input to GHIN. But to actually use all that data that you capture I’m not sure what the advantage is. I feel like I’ve wasted my time inputting all that data at this point.

### 3/5 — Connectivity issues between I-watch and phone

*2026-09-01, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

Overall been using this app for two years. So have the majority of my friends that I play with. The biggest issue we all experience is when the watch won’t connect to the phone… and or will not move to the next hole on its own after inputting score. Small bugs like that can kind of drive you crazy. Pretty annoying. If there was another app that had the same social aspects with no issues I would
Purchase it.

### 4/5 — Need auto score

*2026-08-31, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

The app is good, the only down fall is even though i am tracking my shots, i still have to manually in put my final strokes for the hole.

### 3/5 — App Crash

*2026-08-27, version v19.0.17 Pegasus*

Can we please look into the app crashing? Trying to add friends or perform anything other than scoring isn’t working properly. It’s a great app, but these issues are making it difficult to use. Hopefully we can get an update out as soon as possible.

### 4/5 — Freezes

*2026-08-26, version v19.0.17 Pegasus*

Great app, but freezes when trying to add new golfers

### 4/5 — Grint Crashes

*2026-08-25, version v19.0.16 Pegasus*

My Grint app keeps crashing everytime I click on someone's profile picture, Click on comment button under the scorecard, or just trying to click my own profile. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Updated my iphone to latest SW as well but nothing seems to work.

I tried logging on my computer and it is working fine. Not sure what is happening as this started happening a couple of days back.

### 2/5 — Too much personal data

*2026-08-07, version v19.0.15 Pegasus*

Sorry I’m got giving you my date of birth

### 4/5 — Kind of a good app

*2026-08-06, version v19.0.14 Odin*

While the info the app supplies for you whilst on the course is exceptional the only downfall is how you track your shots. The biggest gripe everyone has is slow play in golf nowadays and with having to enter your club used, walk to your next shot save that current shot enter your next club and so on. So when you get in and around and on the green it becomes slow play having to do all this. Select your club, hit the shot walk to the next get your phone out enter your next shot and so on. Be nice if you could edit/enter all this stuff after your round. You can edit fairways, greens hit etc but not what club you used. Pretty much everyone knows what they did in that round and where they roughly played from on the course given the app has gps. So if you’re a slow player then this is good for you if you like ready golf then maybe not.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-27, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

I really like this app a lot it’s got a ton of features that I really like. It been very handy when looking at yardages and slopes of the green to know where you can miss. It’s also great that you can pull up courses before playing them. There are some features that I don’t use that are just not relevant to my game. I did give this app 5 stars which it deserves, but there are some features that I wish it did have. Maybe in the future we will see it maybe not. But will continue using this app.

### 5/5 — Super app

*2026-07-25, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

Great for round stats and the yardages are extremely accurate

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-07-22, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

The app is very helpful and easy to use.

### 3/5 — GPS issues

*2026-07-22, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

The GPS is spotty. Other than that a decent app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Better options

*2026-09-06, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

Used a couple of different apps to work with my Apple Watch Ultra over the past years. Get Hole19, more features, same pricing for subscription. On the plus side, TheGrint looks good, but ending a round with 75% with Hole19 is just a nobrainer compared to the drained 32% using TheGrint.

Heard battery drain was a problem back in 2023, I must say it’s even worse now it seems.

Save your sanity, use Hole19 over this every round.

### 1/5 — Paid Users Only

*2026-09-04, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

WOW can’t even add a score on the free version when there are so many other options in the market for casual golfers!!!!

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2026-08-29, version v19.0.18 Quetzalcoatl*

Lost all round stats because playing partner didn’t have grint. So when trying to save the round I received the error “can’t post round if “has” 8 empty holes “. Waste of time glad I didn’t purchase subscription.

### 1/5 — Not able to connect Golf Canada

*2026-08-28, version v19.0.17 Pegasus*

This would be a way better app if you could connect your golf Canada handicap profile. Seems you can only get USGA connected. Not great

### 1/5 — Horrible UI

*2026-08-24, version v19.0.16 Pegasus*

Use a different golf app.

Absolutely terrible UI design. Even the most basic functionality is impossible to find. My friends and I try to use it to track our rounds together and every single time it takes us multiple tries and 2 full holes to work around the bugs and poor design to actually get a round going with proper score tracking. Half the time we give up and just track our scores on our own.

### 1/5 — Worst update ever

*2026-08-01, version v19.0.14 Odin*

Don’t pay to upgrade. Get another app. Wish I can give negative stars.

Whatever they have done in some of the latest updates is so bad. Have talked to support. I have been patient for updates. But despite updating latest version it’s a mess. Got so frustrated today while playing a round it actually impacted my game since I was annoyed and distracted and had the worst round in 3 weeks.

- GPS feature keeps crashing the app within a minute.
- won’t work with Apple Watch anymore properly. It used to be just fine. It just ignores the score on Apple Watch and doesn’t record. Won’t advance to the next hole either after I enter the score.
- doesn’t load my clubs. So I can’t track distances. It loads all generic clubs including hybrids and clubs I don’t even own.

These are just the issues I have noticed so far. Today I ended up using free version of 18Birdies that was fine - even worked with Apple Watch. I used to be a long time
GolfLogix user and switched to Grint last year as my friends are on it. Bad mistake !!

### 1/5 — Won’t give live scores

*2026-07-26, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

I can’t see my friends live scores

### 1/5 — Time stamp on the game played

*2026-07-22*

The scoreboard as maintained during the game shows older date than the day you are playing & entering the scores !

### 1/5 — Hard to post score bot accurate

*2026-07-16, version v19.0.10 Messi*

Hard to post a score. I did a hole by hole post and it didn’t adjust for quad bogeys even though I’m a a sub 18 handicap. Hard to trust.

### 1/5 — Where are my completed rounds?

*2026-07-09, version v19.0.10 Messi*

I played a 9 hole course and tried to review the score card the following day. Found that I was not able to locate any previously completed rounds.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best app on the Market

*2026-09-06, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

Easy to use and helps with your game

### 5/5 — Best app for golfers

### 5/5 — Awesome scorecard and shot tracker

*2026-09-01, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl*

A guy in the Golf Course told me about this app and decided to check it out, Man am I glad I took them up on that. What a great app this is the free version is useful and very helpful and the paid version is even better depending on what you want out of the app. I personally use it for distances on approach shots and score tracking.

### 5/5 — A little pricey

*2026-08-29, version v19.0.18 Quetzalcoatl*

It is 59,99$ a year to unlock its true potential but even the part you don’t have to pay for is very useful, I use use it every round

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-08-28, version v19.0.18 Quetzalcoatl*

I use the Grint 2-3 times a week, so do my friends and golf partners. Uploads my score to GHIN without fail. Allows my group to follow each other’s scores and trash talk when appropriate.
Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — TheGrint is Great

*2026-08-14, version v19.0.15 Pegasus*

I started using TheGrint it has a great UI to track your score and advanced stats like puts, etc. It has a GPS feature that provides distance to the pin as well as the ability to manually measure distances on each hold. Once I record my round it automatically loads it up to GHIN for my handicap. This is a top app.

### 5/5 — Ideal for game improvement

*2026-08-12, version v19.0.15 Pegasus*

If you believe in practicing, on or off the course. This details and stats this app provides if you input the corrects stats during a round is amazing.

### 5/5 — Johnny

*2026-08-04, version v19.0.14 Odin*

Excelente

### 5/5 — Ez Puttz

*2026-08-01, version v19.0.14 Odin*

This app is awesome!

### 5/5 — Accurate and link to GHIN

*2026-07-28, version v19.0.13 Neptuno*

I really like The Grint: it is easy to use on the course and enables you to capture stats. The link to GHIN really helps keep my handicap accurate.
