I have the pro version. Recently, I thought I would take a look at the information stored, run it through an AI and get some help with my game. It turns out you can’t get any of the information you record. all that data From the course scores and shot did you enter is not available. And the tools that Grint has to analyze the data are very specific and limited. I feel like for the pro version, It should be simple to download the data. So I like the Grint for ease of use (yardage, score input, etc) and automatic score input to GHIN. But to actually use all that data that you capture I’m not sure what the advantage is. I feel like I’ve wasted my time inputting all that data at this point. ### 3/5 — Connectivity issues between I-watch and phone *2026-09-01, version v19.0.19 Quetzalcoatl* Overall been using this app for two years. So have the majority of my friends that I play with. The biggest issue we all experience is when the watch won’t connect to the phone… and or will not move to the next hole on its own after inputting score. Small bugs like that can kind of drive you crazy. Pretty annoying. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Updated my iphone to latest SW as well but nothing seems to work. I tried logging on my computer and it is working fine. The biggest gripe everyone has is slow play in golf nowadays and with having to enter your club used, walk to your next shot save that current shot enter your next club and so on. So when you get in and around and on the green it becomes slow play having to do all this. Select your club,hit the shot walk to the next get your phone out enter your next shot and so on. Be nice if you could edit/enter all this stuff after your round. You can edit fairways, greens hit etc but not what club you used. Pretty much everyone knows what they did in that round and where they roughly played from on the course given the app has gps. So if you’re a slow player then this is good for you if you like ready golf then maybe not. ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-07-27, version v19.0.13 Neptuno* I really like this app a lot it’s got a ton of features that I really like. It been very handy when looking at yardages and slopes of the green to know where you can miss. It’s also great that you can pull up courses before playing them. There are some features that I don’t use that are just not relevant to my game. I did give this app 5 stars which it deserves, but there are some features that I wish it did have. Maybe in the future we will see it maybe not. Get Hole19, more features, same pricing for subscription. On the plus side, TheGrint looks good, but ending a round with 75% with Hole19 is just a nobrainer compared to the drained 32% using TheGrint. Heard battery drain was a problem back in 2023, I must say it’s even worse now it seems. Even the most basic functionality is impossible to find. My friends and I try to use it to track our rounds together and every single time it takes us multiple tries and 2 full holes to work around the bugs and poor design to actually get a round going with proper score tracking. Whatever they have done in some of the latest updates is so bad. Have talked to support. I have been patient for updates. But despite updating latest version it’s a mess. Got so frustrated today while playing a round it actually impacted my game since I was annoyed and distracted and had the worst round in 3 weeks. - GPS feature keeps crashing the app within a minute. - won’t work with Apple Watch anymore properly. It used to be just fine. It just ignores the score on Apple Watch and doesn’t record. Won’t advance to the next hole either after I enter the score. - doesn’t load my clubs. So I can’t track distances. It loads all generic clubs including hybrids and clubs I don’t even own. These are just the issues I have noticed so far. Today I ended up using free version of 18Birdies that was fine - even worked with Apple Watch. I used to be a long time GolfLogix user and switched to Grint last year as my friends are on it.
