## What is Then & There?

What did you photograph on this day? One year ago, five, ten? Then & There answers that question every day, straight from your photo library.

TODAY
Every photo and video you took on this date in earlier years, sorted by year, with time and place. Use the arrows to jump to any other day.

FLIP THROUGH
The whole day as a story: chronologically through all years, with year, time and place shown on top. Tap to continue, hold to pause, share with one tap.

TRIPS, RECOGNIZED AUTOMATICALLY
From capture location and date, Then & There recognizes your trips. Every trip gets a map with route and stations, day by day. You only set where home is and from what distance a trip counts.

PLACES
Every place in your library on one map. See at a glance where you photographed most and dive straight into the photos of a place.

CALENDAR
A year at a glance: every day a tile, the brighter, the more photos. Tap a day and you are there.

RANDOM
A photo you had forgotten, with facts from its metadata: weekday, time, place, how many captures were taken that day and whether it belongs to a trip.

FILTERS AND REMINDER
Hide screenshots, show or hide videos, favorites only. If you like, Then & There reminds you every day at a time of your choice about your photos from today.

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE
No account, no upload, no cloud, no analytics. Then & There only reads your library, changes nothing and works offline. Only the map needs internet. Place names come from Apple Maps; your photos never leave your device.

Then & There needs access to your photo library ("All Photos") to find days across all years. Requires iOS 26 or later.
