## What is TheOneConvert?

TheOneConvert turns public article pages into focused reading, source-linked notes, and portable files on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

CONVERT AND READ

Paste an article URL and convert it on-device with WebKit. Read the cleaned Converted view, compare it with the Raw page, follow chapter links, and keep selected articles in a local offline library.

NOTE AND SUMMARIZE

Save selected passages to a Notebook with their source. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence can summarize reader text on-device. The app explains when the system model is unavailable, and a summary is stored only when you choose to save it.

EXPORT YOUR WAY

Export Markdown, TXT, HTML, PDF, or EPUB. Organize saved articles with search, favorites, folders, and cleanup tools.

MAKE READING YOURS

Choose shared app themes plus Auto, Light, or Dark appearance. Tune the Converted reader’s background, font, text size, line spacing, and line width without rewriting saved content.

WATCH COMPATIBLE VIDEO

Start blank, enter an authorized website, keep local Favorites and History, or use Incognito when you do not want the app to retain the visit or website data. When the page exposes a compatible direct HLS or MP4 stream, TheOneConvert can move playback to Apple’s native player for AirPlay, Picture in Picture, background playback, quality limits, and exact time jumps. Unsupported, DRM-protected, or cookie-bound streams remain in the website player.

TheOneConvert does not download, proxy, convert, save, or add website video to the article library. Use only sites and content you are authorized to play.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No account is required. The native app has no analytics or advertising SDKs and no external conversion or AI service. Articles, notes, and preferences stay on your device unless you enable optional iCloud sync through your Apple account.

Version 2.0 adds a shared Home workspace and the new Watch experience for compatible website video.

- Open article and Watch addresses without typing http:// or https://
- Start Watch without a bundled or remembered website
- Keep local Watch Favorites and recent History with rename, single, multi-select, and delete-all controls
- Use an isolated Incognito session that does not add visits to History
- Move eligible HLS and MP4 playback to Apple’s native player
- Use AirPlay, Picture in Picture, background playback, and lock-screen controls
- Choose Automatic, 1080p, or 720p quality limits and view the reported resolution
- Jump to an exact time; a whole value uses minutes when the video is long enough, while 0:SS, MM:SS, HH:MM:SS, and decimal seconds stay explicit
- Optionally enable Skip Ads for short finite segments; it remains off by default
- Summarize reader text on-device with Apple Intelligence on supported devices
- Choose shared Aurora, Paper, or Signal themes with Auto, Light, or Dark appearance
- Improved playback teardown when leaving Watch or returning to another workspace
