Thank you for highlighting this! ### 3/5 — Declining *2026-04-09* It was once a reliable and accurate source for race schedules up to a week in advance. Now, it’s been cut down to showing racing schedules up to only 1 day out. Also, a huge miss not having an option to be notified when selected races are about to air. **Developer response:** Hey Jetholl - which events are you only seeing one day out? The majority of events are 2 weeks in advance. I can only do the timetables when they’re public and some series (Porsche Asia, MXGP, Supercross for example) only post a day before the event. The app is run by 1 person and relies on series posting events. Which ones were you having issues with? There are notification options in settings - notifications. You can set a notification for days/hours/minutes before your select series are about to start. Can you email me at dave@theracingline.app and i can look into any potential technical issues you’re having with timetables not showing? ### 4/5 — Good if you pay *2026-03-14* I had the discounted full year before, if you pay for pro this is a good app but you’re better off just finding the information you want yourself if you don’t pay. **Developer response:** More American series such as WOO, SCCA are on my list to add. 👍 ### 4/5 — Solid app *2026-03-08* You have to consistently open the app a few times throughout the week for it to work. It isn’t the end of the world but the app stops working if you forget to open it for a little while. Other than that it is a fantastic app. It has basically every racing series I can think of. App some decent customization too. You can customize when your notifications go off and you can decide what series you want to follow, you also get to decide what sessions you get notified for. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is the fact that it will stop working if you don’t open the app. ### 5/5 — Melhor app para fans de corrida *2026-02-19* Esse app é essencial para todo fã de corrida! No point in the app if you don’t have those. **Developer response:** Hi Rogerscgreg. There has been no change in the features which are subscription and the free tier in the 5 years the app has been live. It’s the same features as before. With no subscription, users still have access to an all the series calendars which shows the date of every race, and links to the series site, live timing and YouTube pages. Thousands of users still find value in this. This is amazing - all in one place and even links to live streams. If I were to add anything it would be to star ⭐️ races and have a link to where I can watch the race. If there are YouTube streams, I embed these directly in the app on that page. If it’s streams we can’t embed, tap the chain link icon 🔗 near the top right - it has links to where the event is streaming. Series/Sessions with a camera icon 🎥 are embedded in the app. There’s also the Watch tab at the bottom. This has everything i can embed in 1 tab. 😊 ### 3/5 — Great APP-Terribly Slow *2026-01-11* Good app to keep your race weekends organized and so you know you are not missing out on any sessions. It’s a great app to keep track of various Motorsport races, series, and so on. Only downside is you have to open the app once a week to maintain consistent notifications. It’s not a major inconvenience to do that, but I often brush those notifications aside and end up getting my tracked series reset resulting in missing out on races I would’ve liked to watch. As I said it’s all around a great app, but I wish the notification system could be improved. I shouldn’t have to open up an app once a week to keep getting notified about whatever series I’m tracking. **Developer response:** Hi welkdaddy, I’ve looked into his but it would require server side notifications- and in order to that you’d need an account, which means I’d need your data. The only data I’m interested in having is start times and streams to make your life easier. Additionally, users would lose the ability to set the notifications to the time they want. Would you be able to email me at dave@theracingline.app and we can try a few things? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not Accurate *2026-06-14* Literally just missed the NASCAR race because this app said it started a completely different time. Almost two hours late to the race thanks to this app. I honestly praised this app for quite a while too and paid money for the widgets! but this is some bull. If you’re going to make an app to show all motorsports times at least make sure they’re accurate for local time too. **Developer response:** Hey Tulips. I'm sorry this happened, but unfortunately this was a change by NASCAR less than 5 hours before the race was due to begin. The Pocono Cup race was scheduled at 15:00 local time and was moved to 13:00 local time due to incoming weather. None of The Racing Line is automatic and requires manual collation to ensure timetables are correct. When series make a change at the last moment, even if I update the app, if you don't open the app then unfortunately you won't see the change. Motorsport is annoyingly fluid compared to most sports. Over 1000 users streamed events at the weekend but it sounds like I might have a bug affecting you. ### 1/5 — Possible scam? *2025-01-22* Don’t know if it’s something I’m doing wrong or this is a scam but nothing shows up just says no series selected, I go to the visibility setting and it won’t let me select any series to make them visible on the page . it’s got a constant loaning circle in the corner ? Of. The. Racing. Series. You don’t know or care about. The app freezes for a second between each untick, making the process take up minutes of my time. ### 2/5 — Devs lost the plot *2025-03-27* Idk why such a basic app has a $3/month subscription plan. App used to be pretty solid and barebones but now race times are behind a pay wall. It’s not that this app is bad. It’s just silly that it’s trying to be something that it’s not. It’s easy to make your own schedule for races. All this app did was make that even easier to do. Any other functionality is extraneous honestly. **Developer response:** Hi P8580, The subscription is 99c a month. The race times have been a subscription feature since the beginning and since then I’ve added streaming to the platform and kept the price the same. I put in 20 hours a week compiling timetables and streams. There is no automation here and it’s a single person app. The goal is to make motorsport easier to watch. Compiling schedules yourself is of course always an option - but this app is for those that do not want to manually search for times and streams of their series every week. If you’re having an issue seeing the 99c subscription then email me at dave@theracingline.app and I can resolve that. ### 2/5 — So much potential, but… *2024-05-16* I really want to like this app, as it would save me spending several days building this all into my iCloud calendar manually. There are a few series’ missing that I would like to see, but that’s not the main problem. The interface looks great, but it’s fairly unresponsive, which makes for a frustrating user experience. Came across this a year ago, and couldn’t ask for more. Lists all series I select, and displays as tile on my home screen. Worth the pay. Two things I would like to see in future are 1) Live broadcaster / broadcasters / OTT of the series on that weekend based on my geolocation 2) Results of the finished events when I click on it (atleast top 3). Would love to see all my favorite events broken down by each section and their times in google calendar. Much easier to track.
