Beware thesr aren’t professionals and some folks can project a lot of their bad experiences onto yours and offer bad advice for things they couldn’t resolve themselves or still struggle with. It’s a good app to vent but not for solid advice. ### 3/5 — Helped me *2025-09-17, version 1.9.19* Friendly impartial advice really has helped me with issues I’ve had. Lovely people. ### 2/5 — App bot is Rude to people *2024-12-26, version 1.9.19* I’m tried to ask for help with a situation and I waited for 40 minutes for people to join. The bot suggested that I should end the conversation when I was feeling better so that I could help others and the volunteers could help other people. (I didn’t create the “nickname” that was assigned to me they did) I was trying to report the problem and it suddenly disappeared and this window appeared with my chat prompt on it and a button that said chat transcript. I pushed the button because it was the only option and I couldn’t even exit out of it. The chat had been ended because of the fact that nobody joined. The response from the not that offended me had been removed from the transcript and at the bottom it suggested that I try again later. There was no place to even enter a problem comment concern or anything else available in the chat ending note. In fact it didn’t even have a way to exit it. I had to hard close it and reopen the app. It took me back to my Home Screen. I felt very shut down and that my feelings weren’t even worth hearing so there wasn’t even an option for me to add a comment or question or anything. ### 2/5 — Looked good *2023-12-16, version 1.9.19* This app was a metaphor for my whole life- agree to help and be helped, sign in, and every door was closed, every conversation over, every listed problem just the opener into someone else’s problematic life— closed to you and your thoughts, needs, or desire to help. I clicked around aimlessly, not connecting with anyone, not seeing any way to get invited into a conversation. It all led to a blank page that basically says “start your own page” where you could just put your own lonely thoughts out there, I guess, and wait for someone else to want to talk. Thanks but no thanks. This is more depressing than just ruminating alone. I look forward to anyone connecting with this review in even the slightest way. My heartfelt thanks to the makers of this app. One area where the app can make improvements is tech support. The moderators lounge has been non operational for over a year , which has been pretty frustrating to say the least. The admin is great at “kumbaya” and lip service, but does very little by way of concrete improvements. There are constant excuses being sprouted for the inaction. This has led most of the moderators to slack off or quit the app. This is quite unfortunate since this is such an amazing platform has so much potential!
