Spent more days with cold feet than I should have. The battery icon is useless and awful. I’ve done everything possible, including talking to support which takes 3-5 days to respond, yet still the battery remains a gray icon with white inside, whether fully charged or completely empty. SMH. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it a few times, and tried multiple other fixes with no luck. I use the heated vest and heated socks. Bluetooth control works well and has been consistent for me. The Apple Watch app makes it easy to adjust temperature from the ski lift without having to get my phone out. I prefer to have full control over my heat settings so I don’t use the eco or motion control modes, but they seemed to work as advertised when I tested them. Be sure to upgrade your battery packs to the latest firmware if they come with an old version. And if your ski group is waiting for you to get out the door, whatever you do, don’t tell them “I’ll be ready soon I just need to upgrade the firmware in my socks.” :) ### 5/5 — Warm *2020-12-28, version 1.4.0* Really warm ### 5/5 — Easy to use. Worked pretty well. *2020-01-07* Update: contacted customer support. Responded quickly. Had to do a hard reset of the batteries. That resolved the issue for me. Working again as it did before the update. Worked great all last year. Latest update a few weeks ago broke it. Won’t reconnect to units after you turn them off and back on unless you delete them from the app and re add them again. Basically the blue tooth function with the app is effectively now broken. Note to developer: a delay function would be really helpful. If i turn them on before i leave my feet sweat before i get to the lift. If i want to turn them on later i have the issues of cold hands and risking getting the phone out on the chair lift.
