One of mine quit linking, removed app, and reinstalled. Now asking for a four digit number to reactivate which is no where to be found on any of the product pieces. No one answers phone. Heated insoles are now useless. Tried contacting support but link goes nowhere. ### 1/5 — Put phone in airplane mode/shut off wifi to work *2023-11-28* The app seems to crash with the iOS updates. I see other reviews complaining that they haven’t updated the app for 7yrs. I finally figured out how to get it to work!!!! Put your phone in airplane mode. Turn off wifi. Then launch the app and skip register. Pair with plus button too right corner. Your pin should last 4 digits of miner inside battery tray or whatever pin you originally setup. Hope this helps some people still be able to use these insoles. ### 1/5 — App Won’t Load *2023-11-19* Restarted phone, removed app, reinstalled and app opens and closes immediately. Won’t stay open long enough to even report issues. Essentially now the insoles are rendered useless. The company hasn’t released software updates in 4 years and that is just poor customer service. I guess they’re no longer supporting this app. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works *2020-12-03, version 1.0.21* These insoles work good to take the cold out of my feet when hunting in the woods. High doesn’t last long at all only 2 hrs at the most. I bought a second battery so that I can have warm feet in the morning and then at the end of the hunt. ### 5/5 — 1st pair was defective, 2nd works perfectly *2018-12-18, version 1.0.21* Not sure why all these other folks say they paid $200 at the same time I paid $100 for my first pair at the end of 2017. Regardless, the first pair stopped working well almost from the beginning. I dealt with them for the season with mixed feelings and tried to contact the manufacturer for a warranty repair in the spring but the company sold to HeatFactory. Since I bought through Amazon, they took responsibility and sent me a new pair 2 days later. They’ve worked extremely well this winter. The app connects immediately and doesn’t lose connectivity like the last pair. Used inside a pair of only 200g light weight insulated Hunting/Hiking boots that I wear all day, while building houses outdoors in New England, and with the app set on low heat from the beginning of the day keep my feet from getting cold at all until late afternoon once the battery runs out. HeatFactory isn’t continuing to make these soles so I’m going to get a couple sets of batteries while they’re still available to make as much use of these soles as possible before the technology is outdated in a few years. A 2nd pair of batteries would allow me an 8hr+ work day set on medium heat. ### 5/5 — Time for an Apple Watch app *2018-12-07* The app for iPhone is great but would be better if I could adjust my insoles from my watch. ### 4/5 — Time for a New app icon *2018-09-29* Great idea, I like having control with my phone rather than a remote.
