But the app saves a .png image which does not include raw temperature data (each pixel as a temperature value in Celsius or Fahrenheit). ### 1/5 — Hardware is great. It remembers your settings, you can choose Celsius or Fahrenheit, you can orient the screen to any camera orientation. I like that you can go to images saved in the app gallery at any time and have control on measuring all aspects of the image just as though it were live. Images and video can also be easily saved from the app gallery to the iPhone camera roll. Negative comments I see in other reviews and in some video reviews have either been solved in recent updates or in some cases are the result of not reading the documentation in the app itself. ### 4/5 — Good camera needs Fahrenheit *2023-10-03, version 1.0.9* The camera is great but the soft ware is lacking. It needs a function to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit ### 3/5 — Does not work with iPhone 17 *2025-12-29, version 2.0.1* Worked great with previous phone. I tried a speed to usb-c connector and it will not work. ### 3/5 — Sorry to say this is a backwards step. *2024-10-23, version 2.0.1* Update 23/10/24: Well it’s better now that it has been changed back to its older “look” but now I can’t change the font colour! I honestly preferred the older interface. Not liking this new one. I can find the setting for fully automatic where it would open to a screen where it had min, max and spot temp for the whole screen. It feels slower. The camera keeps freezing for short periods, more than it did with the older version. And I haven’t a clue what the 1,2,3,4,5 do on the screen, I press them and nothing at all happens. And when I create a pdf report it’s nowhere near in as much detail as it used to be, just big bands of black at the bottom which looks horrible. It’s messed up. I wish it was like it was before especially since I’ve paid £250 for the thermal camera. Not good enough. ### 3/5 — Support USB-C cameras *2023-10-14* Please add support for usb type c camera! iPhone 15 has usb c now. ### 3/5 — Some pretty major bugs ! *2023-07-11* BUG1: If I try to rename P1,P2, P3 etc I cannot rename it to anything if the second letter is an A or a Z, bizarrely !. So I cannot name it “Bathroom” but I can name it “Bithroom”, it wont accept an A or a Z as the second letter. This is pretty ludicrous and obviously a bug. BUG2: When I draw a frame onto a saved image (max, avg, min) and get the temperature information but then move that frame, the temperatures do not update to the new area where I have placed the frame over. This is another pretty major bug that needs sorting, especially after I’ve paid £250 for this device ### 2/5 — Upside down ! *2026-03-05, version 2.0.1* The only way to get full screen on the iPad 10 is to hold the iPad upside down. And although the image becomes full screen the text is still upside down regardless of the settings I use. This really needs sorting. It’s basic stuff. ### 2/5 — Lightning connection *2025-04-15, version 2.0.1* Lighting/Apple connection only works with direct connection. I had to upgrade my iPhone and the old thermal camera only works when connected direct to lightning. A lightning > USB-C adapter doesn’t work. 🙁 ### 2/5 — Not an improvement! *2024-10-23* New product is in my opinion a down grade with loss of features. My biggest complaint is that the “application autorotate” function was removed. You can manually rotate the image but not the application. This means if you prefer to rotate your phone so the sensor is at the top you stuck with the application being upside down ….
