I really appreciate the simplicity of it's layout giving the user immediate information without the "clutter" other apps use to try and impress their user's. I'm an app "junkie" who tries out many apps, and so the one's I do keep have been beneficial and/or useful to me in one way or another. In doing so, I've gained experience in the pluses and minuses of what makes a productive and useful app. Not tooting my horn (so to speak), just want to be helpful to others! Last review: I had a temperature app before this one that displayed inconsistent temperature readings, sometimes off by 10 degrees! Comparing this app with my outdoor digital temperature gauge, I was impressed at how the readings have been steadfastly consistent. Another thing that impressed me is, whenever a developer responds to a user's comments, it shows they're actively working (and care) on improving the app for it's customer's. ### 1/5 — Accidentally bought *2020-04-08* My daughter thought it is for human body temp measuring app, while I was sick. Turned it’s for room temperature. If it requires geo location why someone even use it? What a waste. My little daughter even didn’t realize you have to pay for this lame app. **Developer response:** Hi there gdhjjghh! We’re sorry that this is not the app you’ve looked for. But we never say anywhere that this is a body-temp app? Do the description is very clear. Anyway, no problem. Please check out the following link to verify a refund with Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084 If done so, it would be nice updating your rating afterwards. Thank you very much and get well soon!! ### 5/5 — Very nice!! *2019-03-02* Great minimalistic app. Does exactly what it’s suppose to do and does it well while looking great! 5 stars!! Thank you Christian! **Developer response:** Hi Maui Kid, it’s a pleasure! Thank you sooo much for your very nice review! :) If you have any ideas to make it even better, just let me know ;) All the best! Christian ### 1/5 — Don’t buy it - didn’t work for me *2019-01-15* Bought it as I cldnt find any apps that offer the same services for free but after downloading it opened and had some strange box in the corner, looked like a how to guide but nothing I did worked. Couldn’t get rid of this „guide“ either and the app displayed the temp as 0 degrees. Given I’m indoors with central heating and the external temp is currently only 6 degree im confident it doesn’t work. If the developer could fix the app I would consider an updating this review. As it stands I wouldn’t recommend it or any other app from the same developer. **Developer response:** Hi remember_our_forces!, I’m very sorry for this issue! This raised up with iOS 12.1 changes... Actually, I just uploaded a hotfix version and sent it to the Apple Review Team the moment I write this Message to you. ;-) So yes, the update should be out soon. Keep an eye for version 1.0.6! If it's now working for you, It would be awesome if you could update your recent rating? Does version 1.0.6 work for you? All the best and thank you very much for using the app! :) ### 4/5 — Bugs *2019-01-09* This app was great until a few weeks ago. Now, it has stopped working even after the update. It just paused or closes by itself. Need the bugs fixed **Developer response:** Hi shawns meathawk, I’m very sorry for this issue! All the best and thank you very much for using the app! :) ### 4/5 — Please Fix *2019-01-03* A once great app, one of my favorites, now crashes or shows frozen set up screen even after reinstalling it three times. Same thing happens on my wife's iphone. Please fix this problem in the near future. **Developer response:** Hi C8H108, I’m very sorry for this issue! All the best and thank you very much for using the app! :) ### 1/5 — Maybe / probably my fault *2018-12-02* I wanted an app that told me room temperature not location outside temperature. My phone already does that from the factory. Another dollar gone. **Developer response:** HI so. cal, I'm sorry you've wanted other app functionality. I think the description is clear how it works.? Anyway, you can easily refund through apple if you want to here: https://reportaproblem.apple.com But maybe you can re-think your rating about the app itself if you would have looked for a minimized outdoor temperature app? Thanks & All the best! ### 4/5 — Simple Weather app *2018-10-03* The implementation is only a limited weather app. If you need simplicity it is ok. **Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for your feedback. It is using a weather api as described and gets the data from nearby weather Stations. Please let us know the part you think is misleading and we‘ll check if we can amend it for better understanding. Maybe you can give more than 1 ⭐️ then ? Thanks much and best regards! ### 5/5 — Simple and accurate *2018-02-15* Good app. Very clean and simple interface. Seems accurate. Measurements based on location. ### 5/5 — Great on iPhone X!! *2018-01-12* Really like the simplicity and also the nice colored themes I can choose of! ## Frequently asked questions about Thermometer X ++ Digital Temp ### What is the price of Thermometer X ++ Digital Temp?
