## What is ThesisVault?

ThesisVault is a research journal for retail investors who believe the memo matters more than the ticker.

Most investing apps are built to make you check them constantly. ThesisVault is built the other way: no live prices, no live P&L, no streaks, no feeds demanding attention. Just a quiet place to think in writing — and a permanent record of how your thinking evolved.

THE BOOK
Your active positions, each anchored by a written thesis. You set your own book-size limit (1–100) and the app holds you to it.

THE INCUBATOR
New ideas don't go straight into the Book. They wait out a cooling-off timer you control — breathing room between "this looks interesting" and "I own it." When the timer ends, a checklist you wrote yourself decides whether the idea blooms into the Book or gets passed with reasons.

MEMORY
Everything you conclude — bloomed ideas, passes with reasons, promotions, closed positions — is preserved. Nothing in Memory can be edited or deleted, by design. It's the honest track record of your judgment that no broker statement can give you.

HOW YOUR RESEARCH HAS DONE
When you close a position you type the price you actually got out at, and Memory scores the decision: your hit rate, your average winner against your average loser, and what it added up to. It looks backwards only, at decisions you already finished. Nothing on the screen moves while you read it.
