Has helped me understand my shape and what looks good and what looks less good on me ### 5/5 — Brilliant app *2024-08-29, version 3.0.1* This is like having your best friend in an app: trustworthy and reliable and at the same time being supportive and kind. I love the goddess names, it brings a really positive feel to our bodies. Other body shape names, such as apple or pear, seem to have negative associations. By giving every body shape a goddess name it has an instantly uplifting feel. It makes me feel proud of my shape and I know others feel the same. I’ve found the app so useful as it offers practical advice and explains why certain items and features don’t work. This means no more unwanted clothes, less money spent and being more sustainable and planet friendly-it’s a win win. I’m recommending this app to all my friends and family. The Think Shape app has brought so much clarity when it comes to knowing what really suits me and making sensible purchases. I’m excited for all that is to come from the app in the future. This app reiterates to me what suits me and what I should wear which I am finding very helpful. I think it’s good value and any help I can get is great and new ideas are great too. ### 5/5 — Real fashion advice for real bodies *2023-11-06, version 2.2* This app is a game changer for people who would love to have personalised advice from a stylist but find it too expensive. With a few simple measurements you are provided with advice on what works for your body - from trousers, to necklines, shoes and accessories - possibly even more than you have ever thought about. It helps you realise why certain things just don’t feel or look right - even if they are supposed to be the height of fashion! In the end this saves time and money as you target and buy what works. I love it! Currently £35 for the detailed body map which is real value. ### 5/5 — Worth it *2023-09-12, version 1.0* I am really enjoying this, and using it to help me edit my wardrobe down as I have too many clothes I never wear and I want everything in there are things that suit me and I will actually enjoy wearing. It asks you to take various measurements of your body but the videos and instructions are very clear and it didn’t ask for my weight or make me feel uncomfortable in any way, which I was a worried about. It looks like a ton of work has gone into it and I imagine I’ll keep using it for a few years to come so it’s definitely worth the £35 for all the extra info you get. This is gonna make me buy all the right stuff in the first place and not have to make so many returns which is a win ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Need to subscribe to get any results and doesn’t factor above a DD cup! *2025-03-23, version 3.2.0* Disappointing. Doesn’t make clear you get NO RESULTS unless you pay. I’d expected some indications and to pay for more support/information. Also largest size bust you can enter is DD+ which means many of us won’t be getting the full body shape consideration promised. ### 1/5 — Overpriced. Inflexible. Weak advice *2024-08-01, version 3.0.1* I cannot recommend this app. It is way overpriced for the information you get. Once you have entered your measurements they now block you from editing them - so if you lose or gain weight, too bad, you have to send your personal measurements directly to an email address to be updated (so no privacy there). As this functionality used to exist, it’s not clear why they should remove this, it’s just inconvenient and obstructive. The advice given is pretty feeble and the outfits bland. Far from an original or even well considered take on body shape, this is just the usual Apple/pear/hourglass but renamed with goddesses. It’s silly and would have been worth it for a few pounds but is a con for the price charged. Not recommended. ### 1/5 — Confused *2024-05-14, version 2.4* Every other shape system has me as an hourglass, leaning towards a pear. This app decided I am the equivalent of a column. I wouldn’t have any problem if I was but if it can’t categorise me, how can it help me shop?! ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2024-01-14, version 2.4* I can’t believe how little you get for your money. I bought this in good faith after a recommendation from Anna Murphy in the Times and the total advice amounts to about 2 pages of a decent magazine article. And much of what Trinny and Suzanna were saying 20 years ago. I imagined I was buying personalised advice - albeit generalised to my type - that would come with a big catalogue of photos and ideas to suit each of the body shapes, occasions, moods, sizes and also show some recognition of different style preferences. This app barely scratches the surface. The clothes and style suggestions for my body shape are horrible, and with only three ideas to come away with, with I am wondering what I’ve paid for, except lots of their celebratory lunches I can see on their IG site. This app is just not ready to launch. It is wafer thin and a bit unfair to promise so much and underdeliver. They say they are adding more images but it should be a finished product. There should be at least 20 different outfits modelled on a range of sizes for each body type - as a minimum. Save your money and buy a book or something. I had set aside a day off to have fun with this and the whole experience lasted about an hour and left me feeling deflated and totally uninspired. It’s all hype. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2024-01-18, version 2.4* I was expecting so much more from this app and have been left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed I’m not really sure what the £35 has paid for, I was expecting it to unlock more ideas and suggestions but sadly I feel cheated out of my money Some of the videos won’t load and all I see is a green page, it’s does say more ‘content to come’ but when will that be? I’d suggest you take the free advice and don’t waste your money on the subscription ### 3/5 — Good in principle *2024-02-02* I like that it gives you a shape to dress to. I was actually wrong about what I thought my shape was, so that was good. However there is not sufficient examples of outfits, too much “coming soon” that hasn’t come. Also all the store recommendations are British, examples from other countries would be helpful. After adding my measurments I was told my bodyshape and what styles would suit me best. I have found it helpful to know what to look out for when I'm shopping and to have that info with me on my phone. There is also a section on what to avoid! I had a couple of questions and customer service were very helpful and responsive. They let me know that more information is being added all the time as well as detailed information on styles and details which will flatter my shape the best. Accessory, shoe and bag suggestions all follow in a visually pleasing and easy to follow format.
