## What is Thinkdown?

Your AI voice note app and AI journal in one. Talk the way you think, and Thinkdown turns it into a clear note or a journal entry that sounds like you.

Tap record and just talk: half sentences, tangents, "wait, no". Thinkdown transcribes it and writes a clean note in the style you pick, with a title and tags. Your recording and transcript stay with the note, so you can always check what you really said.

AI JOURNAL
• Talk through your day and get a journal entry in your own voice, not a summary.
• A daily streak and milestones keep the habit going.
• Ask your journal anything, like "what was I worried about last month?", and get an answer from your own entries with the sources it used.
• Places on each entry, with Show on map.

IT KNOWS YOU
• The more you talk, the better it knows you. Every note suggests the people, places and words it heard; one tap saves them to Memory, and from then on they're spelled right.
• It fixes itself. Select a word it got wrong, tap Fix and say what you meant. The note updates and Thinkdown remembers how it misheard you, so it doesn't happen again.
• It knows where you are. Neighborhood and town names near where you record help it spell local places right.
• Add documents as background, so notes about a project get its names and references right.

SAY IT YOUR WAY
• Record on iPhone from the app, the Lock Screen or Siri, on the Mac with a keyboard shortcut, or on Apple Watch.
• Pause and pick up again, or add more to a note later.
• 21 voice languages, and you can mix them in one note.

READ IT CLEAN
• Styles turn the same thought into a clear note, a journal entry, a list, an email or a prompt for an AI assistant. Make your own, too.
• Rewrite any note at any time, with every earlier version kept.
• Combine several notes into one.
• Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to your notes from Settings > AI apps.
• Import notes from other apps on the Mac.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Choose the colors you like, in light or dark.

ON ALL YOUR DEVICES
• Notes sync between iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web, and you can read your latest notes on Apple Watch.
• Everything works offline and catches up when you're back online.
• Tags, pins, search and a 30-day Deleted page.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Sign in with Apple or a code sent to your email. No passwords.
• No ads, no tracking, and your notes are never used to train AI models.
• Delete your account and all of its data from Settings at any time.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-21

A new look on iPhone, plus a few things you asked for:

• A tab bar at the bottom of iPhone, so Notes, Memory, Styles and Settings are one tap away. Your account now lives in Settings.
• A cleaner Home: your last note and your writing streak, front and center.
• Clearer note status, like "Writing your note…" or "Couldn't write this note", so you always know what's happening.
• Styles, Memory and Settings share one simple layout. Settings is regrouped, and each option has a short ⓘ explanation.
• iPad shows folders, notes and the open note side by side in three columns.
• A new Rewrite sheet to rewrite a note in another style.
• Writing streak: a streak page and the calendar show how many days in a row you've written.
• Colors: a calm Paper look by default, or pick from 8 color schemes.
• Places: each note shows where you recorded it and where it's set, with a Show on map link.
• Local names spelled right: Thinkdown uses your neighborhood and town (never your exact spot) to spell nearby places correctly. Turn it off in Settings > Recordings.
• Tags: Thinkdown suggests topic tags for each note. Add, rename or remove them in place, tap a tag or search #tag to see its notes, pick which language tags are written in, or turn tags off in Settings.
• 11 languages: English, Chinese, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Pick the ones you speak, or let Thinkdown detect them.
• Change a note's date: tap the date at the top of a note to pick a new day and time.
• Bigger to-do boxes that line up with the text and are easier to tap.
• A simpler name editor in Memory: just the word and what it is. Long lists fold to five rows with Show all.
• Clearer rewrite levels in Styles: Light touch, Tidy up and Full rewrite, with a live preview of what each does to your words. The style editor is cleaner too.
• Notes stay in sync more reliably: each device checks its copy against your account and fills in anything missing.
• Fix words in a note: select them, tap Fix in the edit menu and say what you meant. Thinkdown remembers the correction for next time.
• A new Apple Watch app: record in one tap with a calm recording pulse, read your 20 latest notes, and pick your note style and spoken language, synced with your iPhone.
• Watch recordings turn into notes on their own, without opening the iPhone app.
• Recordings made on Apple Watch now play back cleanly on iPhone.
• Thinkdown Pro: 600 minutes of recording a month, recording on Apple Watch, and more. Try it free for 7 days, then $8.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Reading notes on the Watch stays free, and if you already use Thinkdown you get a month of Pro on us.
• Fixes and polish across iPhone, iPad and Mac.
