Some recent reviews:

"...thank you for developing such an invaluable app. As a self-help app, I really appreciate how it provides a plethora of helpful, positive self-affirmations to select, in order to try and replace the negative ones with. Other self-help apps ask the user to provide their own alternative affirmations, which I find that can be an impossible task - if one is so steeped in limiting, negative thoughts, feelings and perspectives about one's self. Everyone - no matter who they are - have doubts and insecurities about themselves selves and therefore, I feel this app is beneficial for all...."

"I love love love this app! I just discovered it, but I've been looking a long time for an app to help me cope with social anxiety/perfectionism/low self esteem... It really helps me understand my feelings and try to confront them head on!"

### 5/5 — An amazing tool for self-coaching

*2025-11-06, version 3.40*

This is the best tool I’ve found for affirmations. The interface itself is simple and calming and the insights shared are not too cheesy.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2025-07-08, version 3.39*

Love this app great for tough times and battling negative thoughts

### 5/5 — Best App Ever

*2025-05-25, version 3.39*

By far the best app I have ever tried! Great for helping you deal with troublesome thoughts!

### 5/5 — Amazing !!!

*2025-01-11, version 3.39*

This app is so underrated, I think it’s great and should be more mainstream.

### 1/5 — nothing is accessible without a paid subscription

*2024-12-29, version 3.39*

title says it all. don't bother downloading unless you're ready to whip out your wallet

### 4/5 — update needed

*2024-03-30, version 3.35*

i have used and loved this app for years. it has helped me at very low points. however, with the newer themes that are getting more specific, an update is needed. please either allow us to favorite themes or put them in a custom order, or have the themes we select the most automatically at the top. the first themes i see when i go to find a limiting belief i’m having are passive aggressive, support workers, aging, aggression and violence, anger, and then the first one relevant to me: anxiety. one of these updates would significantly improve the user experience.

### 5/5 — Helpful, under appreciated app

*2023-10-02, version 3.30.1*

I love this app. I make use of the reminder function and I feel like it’s really helping me remember affirming statements more than any other app. The journal function is also really helpful. Not to mention, this app is pay once to unlock all. Thank you to the devs. Keep up the great work 🩵

### 5/5 — Something different!

*2022-05-23, version 3.14*

I have used Thinkladder for a few years now. Sometimes I struggle to put aside time for using it, but it doesn't stop me from finding value in the regular insight reminders I have set up. Occasionally I open up the app to find some fresh insights or use the insight journal. The loneliness guided audio practices were transformative for me, especially during lockdown in 2021.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2021-12-23, version 3.10*

Great app for affirmations and journalling when you just need a reminded of the more logical and positive side of things. Had app support from Matt to gain access some of paid features which was a real bonus (:

### 1/5 — Expensive

*2021-10-30, version v3.9*

Would be a great app if it wasn’t almost $10 to unlock a singular pathway/“insight”, it’s also $80 to unlock all of them. A lot, if not most people struggling with mental illness are also struggling financially. I’m sure you all put a lot of work into this app but, charging people who need help that much money just to get a couple of therapy/shadow work questions that they can look up online and journal themselves? It’s tone deaf.
