## What is thinkr?

Every day, thinkr gives you a five-question philosophy challenge, then helps you go deeper.

thinkr is daily philosophy built like a workout for the mind. Open the app to Today's Challenge, keep a streak, work through a guided course, and ask serious thinkers for help.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Take the Daily Challenge. A fresh five-question mix every day; spot the thinker behind a quote, catch a logical fallacy, apply a school to a real dilemma. Answer, learn why, keep your streak.

• Learn philosophy, one lesson at a time. A guided course takes you from Foundations and Stoicism through logic, Eastern thought, the Enlightenment, Existentialism, Ethics, political philosophy, and the mind. Earn XP and climb from Novice to Sage.

• Ask a real question to any of 44 philosophers: Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Lao Tzu, Confucius, Buddha, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Camus, Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Schopenhauer, Wittgenstein, Jung, Emerson, and more. Each one answers in their own voice.

• Stage a debate. Pick two or three thinkers and a topic on your mind. Watch them engage by name across multiple rounds. Socrates questions. Nietzsche pushes back. Lao Tzu returns to stillness.

• Carry a single thought each day. One quiet quote, one dilemma, and one sharper question.

• Save what lands. Reflect in writing. Hear it read aloud. Sit with it on a guided timer.

WHO IT'S FOR

You think about how to live. You've read some of the Stoics, dipped into the Tao Te Ching, kept Nietzsche on the shelf for years. You want to understand the ideas, then bring a real question to someone serious.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-16

Thank you for thinking with thinkr.

This update makes the free side worth staying for, and fixes a bug that
interrupted the course.

• The first unit is now free. Work through all three opening lessons on
Socrates and the examined life before deciding anything.
• Fixed: starting the next lesson from a completion screen could open it
already marked complete, showing the previous lesson's score.
• Finish the Daily Challenge and you see how you did first, instead of
anything else.
• A guided course of 51 lessons, from Socrates to modern reasoning, with a
teaching card before every set of questions.
• Daily review brings back the ideas you got wrong on a 1, 3, 7 and 14 day
schedule.
• Reasoning drills that ask you to spot the flaw in an argument and pick the
strongest version of a view.
• Chat allowances now refresh every day rather than running out for good.
• Hundreds of small corrections across the course text.

New here? Start with Today's Challenge, then work through the course from
Socrates to modern reasoning.

• The Timeline — see every thinker in the library laid out across 2,500 years, from Pythagoras to the present, and tap any name for a short bio.
• New question types — put thinkers in chronological order, and sort ideas into schools.
• Teach cards that introduce each concept before you practice it.
• Earn drachmas as you learn, and spend them to refill hearts or bank a streak freeze.
