## What is Thought So?

A living room with every piece of furniture shoved into the middle, and a note about where the cat likes to nap. A bag half packed for a weekend away. A lunchbox with room for exactly four things. Each round of Thought So drops you into a small scene like this, hands you a few short notes about who or what goes where, and leaves the rest to you.

You read. You look. You drag the armchair over to the window, because the note said the cat naps in the sun and the cat only ever naps on that chair. You take the toothbrush back out of the suitcase, because whoever packed it is staying home. One note tells you exactly where something goes. The next only tells you where it can't. Read them together and a third answer turns up that nobody wrote down. That is the whole game: a few plain sentences, one scene, and the quiet click when the last item slides into the only spot left for it.

Nothing is timed and nothing is random. Every scene has a single correct arrangement, and you can always reach it by reading carefully, so you are never asked to guess and hope. Some scenes are settled in a minute. Others make you hold four facts in your head at once and turn them over until they agree with each other.

What "getting it right" means keeps changing. Sometimes it is a home: which lamp lives in which room, whose boots go by which door, which shelf the jam belongs on. Sometimes it is people and animals: three dogs, three leashes, one very particular owner. Sometimes it is packing for a trip, building a lunchbox around picky eaters, or laying a dinner table for guests who each want something different. And sometimes something has gone wrong: a cracked vase, a missing cake, muddy footprints down the hall. Then the notes turn into what everyone claims they saw, and your job is to work out what really happened from the small things the others walked right past.

Rounds are short and self-contained, so Thought So fits into a bus ride or the last ten minutes before bed. If you get stuck, a hint points you back to the one note you should reread, not to the answer itself.

And when the last item lands and the whole scene suddenly makes sense at once, you get to say the two words this game is named after.
