### 5/5 — So helpful

*2025-09-01, version 3.2.0*

It’s so great to have a complete inventory of all my threads. All different types and brands. Also it’s been great to track each project and log my time on each project.

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2025-04-25, version 2.11.2*

Absolutely fantastic for cross referencing what I own vs patterns and projects I have on deck.

### 5/5 — Best

*2025-04-06, version 2.10.2*

Probably the best and most complete and thorough app I’ve seen for this. Clean and easy to use, organized, and with a user guide. Pattern management is simple. Stock management even simpler.
Wonderful app. 10/10

Absolutely fantastic for cross referencing what I own vs patterns and projects I have on deck.

### 5/5 — Well thought out. Great customer response

*2025-03-19, version 2.10.0*

I only work with threads. I have a lot if brands. You can sort and filter and have it pull up all your threads in a color family. Adding threads was an easy swipe. Questions were answered quickly and there is a thorough user guide. I had a brand that wasn’t included and it was added in 24 hours. Very impressed.

### 5/5 — Quickest app purchase ever.

*2025-03-13, version 2.9.0*

I used this app for two days and purchased the lifetime option. Worth every penny.

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2025-03-08, version 2.9.0*

This is such a great app to keep track of threads in your stash and has every brand you can think of in their catalog. Excellent customer service for questions. They will also add any thread company you ask them to if not in their catalog. It also keeps track of projects! I would highly recommend!!

### 5/5 — This app does everything!

*2025-02-28, version 2.8.2*

I was using a clunky spreadsheet to keep track of all the things this app can do. And now i have something user friendly and viewed nicely on my phone and iPad, what more could I want?? And as a bonus, the developer is very kind to answer questions, too. Highly recommend! I did a trial for pro yearly and have no regrets.

### 5/5 — Best App On My Phone!

*2025-02-06, version 2.8.0*

This app is *everything* I have been looking for to organize my floss and threads. I am so thrilled with it! The accuracy, the ability to track quantities and tie them to projects, the shopping lists, the ease of use! I could not be more excited about an app! If you’re a crafter who uses embroidery floss I HIGHLY recommend this app!!!

### 5/5 — Use this one!

*2025-01-25, version 2.6.1*

The app met my needs when I first bought it but the developer has continuously added new features and listens when you ask for something new. I highly recommend you give this app a try. It’s my go to!

### 5/5 — Question

*2024-10-31, version 2.4.0*

Great so far. Help!

### 5/5 — Craft Dream Organization

*2024-10-20*

I got this app over two months ago and it is a dream come true. I am able to keep track of all my crafts (cross stitch, punch needle, crochet, knitting, and quilting) in one place. I love that it list many of the common thread companies and I can select which ones I want to see.
The designer is amazing and she keeps adding different suppliers to the app and does it shockingly fast.

### 5/5 — Quickest app purchase ever.

*2024-09-21*

I used this app for two days and purchased the lifetime option. Worth every penny.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Complicated

*2025-05-19, version 2.12.0*

Cant make heads or tails of this app! Information is very limited

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-01-23, version 2.6.1*

I wanted this app to keep track of all of my Robison Anton poly embroidery thread. It does not have the RA poly thread…. Only the rayon.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2024-09-09, version 2.1.0*

Bought the one subscription pro will not let me down load a picture will not allow me to save my projects very unhappy and want my money back. Fed up

### 1/5 — Does not include Isocord threads

*2023-11-09, version 1.6.0*

👎👎👎

### 2/5 — Not going to but if I can see what I’m buying

*2025-01-18, version 2.6.0*

You have everything so locked down that I can’t see if I want to buy the app. I’m not going to buy it I can’t see if I can track what I want to track. You should at least let people add 3 or 4 different items. In each category. Let your customers know if we can add categories. I’d like to track all my craft supplies e.g. fabric, paper, card stock, chip board, paint, hardware, sewing thread, needles for my sewing machine, hand, sewing needles, leather, vinyl, stickers, notepads, pencils, pens, wrapping paper, etc. I would like to add how many yards are in a bolt of fabric or paper in a pack, or pens in a package etc. I would like to add what I paid for the item. If it was on sale. What the regular price is. If the item is on clearance or close out (no longer available). I would like it to log my purchases of an item with date, location bought, quantity bought, in what unit (yard, inches, feet, each, package, case, pallet, bolt, ounces, pounds, stickers, etc. I would like it to calculate how much I have of an item (add up my purchase log), how much I’ve spend on an item, hire much it cost per until. When I add a project I’d like to add the supplies I use and how much of that supply. Then tell me the cost of that item in supplies. I would like to be able to log my time on a project. Have a start and stop log until I mark it completed. Then total the amount of time with a wage that I can customize per hour. If you can create an app like this I would tell the world about it. I know a lot of crafter that would love it. The link to send an email doesn’t work.

### 3/5 — Not yet user friendly.

*2025-05-24*

The concept of this app is great, but it is really difficult to navigate. I find it very difficult to find all of the brands of fibers that I have on hand which are commercial brands and I feel like it could be a lot easier to navigate but I just can’t figure out How to even make suggestion suggestions

**Developer response:** I am sorry you had difficulty. I take all user feedback seriously, and would like to understand what you found hard to navigate. You don't need to make suggestions, just let me know what was hard, and I'll think about ways to resolve it. If you will email me at threadalog@yahoo.com, I would love to discuss with you.

### 3/5 — Good but not great

*2024-03-19, version 1.8.0*

Love the ease and clarity of this app, I just wish there was a way to input what was needed for projects to be able to easily see what threads are missing.

### 4/5 — Needs some things…

*2026-06-01, version 3.7.11*

This app needs a few things. I like the fact that you can add Threads to a shopping list, but I don’t like the fact that once you buy that thread and you click it and mark it as purchased, it doesn’t add it to your inventory. You have to manually add the thread to your inventory even after you’ve marked it purchased from your shopping list and I think that is an extra step that’s unnecessary.

### 4/5 — Great app.....but....

*2025-05-21, version 2.12.0*

Great app. Easy to use. Would be great if DMC specialty flosses were added like silk's & variegated. Also a way to add aidas and flosses that aren't on the lists. Especially own dyed etc.

### 4/5 — For free, it’s pretty useful

*2024-12-22, version 2.5.5*

I found it pretty quick and easy to put in my DMC and Anxhor thread based on the numerical order. I wish that there was a way to indicate that you had less than a full skein on the free version.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best craft app to keep track.

*2026-06-29, version 3.7.13*

Thread projects are beautiful and peaceful. Keeping track of threads and projects can be overwhelming. This app helped me continue thread art stress free

### 5/5 — Best cross stitch app…EVER!

*2026-06-09, version 3.7.11*

I purchased Threadalog for the ability to track my floss and I love it for that, but after a few weeks I decided to move my PDF patterns and those I took pictures of from my paper patterns and decided to catalog them. What turned from simple organization has become my new cross stitch best friend. I now use this app for marking off my patterns. I was previously using Markup-RXP but it was too much of a POA when I wanted to upload an image of a pattern. Now all I do is take the image turn it into a pdf and Viola! I can use that to mark off. If I’m feeling especially lazy I can just upload the picture and mark that off. I also love the fact I can back up to the cloud and use this app on my phone and iPad. It’s totally worth the $14.99 annually.

### 5/5 — Hands down the best!

*2026-04-01, version 3.7.1*

This app is the BEST resource for sorting your stash! I have cataloged all of my thread, canvases and stretcher bars, and it is SO handy when trying to pick threads at the store. I love it and will continue to recommend it to everyone at Stitch Club!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-03-31, version 3.7.0*

This app is very useful!

### 5/5 — Free version is great.

*2026-03-05, version 3.6.4*

I needed a simple way to track what colors of thread I have and which ones I needed to buy for a set of projects. I know there are spreadsheets out there, but I wanted something easy to deal with on my phone. I tried a different app, spent five minutes trying to figure out how the hell to add one color of thread, then gave up and tried this one. It’s great. Simple and intuitive. The free version is DMC and Anchor cotton only, but that’s all I needed to just go shopping. I will probably spring for the paid version, and I LOVE that they offer a single lifetime payment and a subscription for people who prefer that. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Exceptional App!

*2026-02-16*

This app is exactly what I was looking for! Not just for thread organization, it helps with all aspects of decorative stitching from matching colors to choosing threads and creating a shopping list. Well worth purchasing!

### 5/5 — Fantastic Needlework Inventory App

*2026-01-08, version 3.5.0*

The most comprehensive needlework inventory and progress journal app I have tried. And very rapid responses to requests for thread line updates and user improvement suggestions. It may take a little longer to learn your way around Threadalog, but the effort is absolutely worth it!

### 5/5 — Thread Storage

*2025-10-17, version 3.2.7*

I love the Threadalog app. This app keeps my thread supply up to date when I add my threads. It allows for several brands to be added and eliminates purchasing multiples of the same colors .

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2025-09-30, version 3.2.5*

Very responsive and I just love it. A must for any stitcher.

### 5/5 — absolutely perfect and wonderful

*2025-09-03*

This app is great and has changed my life and my thread organization system. I love that you can list the location of the thread when you log it, because I have like four different storage spots depending on what project. 💕💕💕
