## What is ThreatLens?

ThreatLens helps you check files before opening or sharing them. Pick a file from Files or open a downloaded file directly in ThreatLens, check whether VirusTotal already has a report for its SHA-256 hash, and upload only when a new scan is needed. ThreatLens also lets you inspect and clear extended file attributes from files you choose, including quarantine-related attributes when iOS allows removal.

ThreatLens stores your VirusTotal API key in iOS Keychain. Recent scan results and recently cleared attribute history stay on device. The app has separate Scanner, Attributes, Settings, and About tabs.
