I love looking and it’s a great opportunity for people like me who live in small towns who love to shop, plus it doesn’t make me feel so guilty. However, it is rather addicting and I wish they would mention pockets.

I am exploring my style and loving the experience of expression through clothing without feeling so much guilt from consumerism/consumption of resources. However my only request if anyone reads this is to separate the shirt/dress sizes. I am a small shirt but medium dress but they are grouped as one size category in the app.

I purchase stuff from ThredUp all the time and love the platform, but the filters don’t actually filter down your search.  If I set filters for only purple dresses, I still see dresses that have zero purple in them.  Also I wish I could filter out final sale items.  

Idk if it’s just bad coding, poor product design, or if they want to make you sort through 1,000’s of items that don’t match your search criteria, but it’s annoying regardless.  

Ultimately it doesn’t stop me from using thredup.  It just chafes me the entire time I am shopping.

ThredUp has become my absolute favorite place to go when I’m looking for higher end clothing. I especially love shopping the site for jeans because I’m a jeans junky. I’m always looking for a perfect pair and I want to try out all the brands without paying $250-$500 retail. They are a great place for shoes as well.  I’m running out of room in my closet!

First and foremost, I love avoiding fast fashion. If anything, the quality of new clothing has decreased and I’d rather shop used, especially if the condition is very good to excellent, or never been worn. That is a filtering options I appreciate. There are also other great features, like “similar items” and the options to save the pieces you like. My complaints include that it’s pricey to return, the only close up pictures are of tags (and the color is just as important to me as the style and fit, if not more so), the discounts are so-so, and I want to filter more. It’s hard enough buying online, but when thrifting, you’re taking more chances. At least when thrift shopping in person, you can look at the items up close, and pay much, much less. Usually. And you definitely don’t have the same cost with returns! The filtering is limited in person though, as all you have to look at is what’s available in that store. So I’ll take what I can get online. All in all, I’m grateful for the option to buy 2nd hand online.

I love this app/sight. It’s so easy to find what I want, and not waste time scrolling through garbage. My favorite part is the “condition” filter. The return policy is really easy too. You can return items from different orders, which takes away the worry. But I’ve honestly found such great clothes here. 

One warning: look closely at the sweater pictures because you can see if something is really pilled. Everything else is really accurately described.

Organized and I enjoy browsing and buying. I like that the promo codes are there in items so I can see what the price will be. It’s clean, easy to use, I recently purchased 2 items. I’m awaiting the arrival. Pretty excited. I also said yes to trying out this goody box! So I went and ordered it. It can’t hurt. The prices are comparable to other apps I use when purchasing new and used items. I have recommended this app to at least 5 people in the last couple weeks.
