Don’t get me wrong this is probably the best three kingdoms game on Apple Store. Graphics wise it’s fantastic. But sadly it is completely dead, probably only 10 players still playing which is very odd and sad. A couple features in the game are very limited because of this such as the mystic alter which spawns a dragon that gives necessary rewards. It spawns by worldwide collection of materials (which is extremely slow due to lack of players) I’ve been playing 4 months and still hasn’t spawned currently at about 30% of 100 of materials collected. There are loads of other things to do every day but can be kind of repetitive at some point. Would be an amazing game if there was an open world section, it has the assets to do so but it’s currently primarily an idle game from auto play. Really sad I found this game so late in its lifespan and dead player base. I haven’t spent any money on the game but I’m guessing that’s what killed the game, the prices for not so great benefits is outrageous. Insanely overpriced. Buying just a few jades (currency you can earn easily just by playing daily) they want to charge 20-30 dollars which is completely pointless since it’s relatively easy to earn. But mainly purchasing comes with honor points which are needed to unlock some features of the game. A 40$ pack (of useless goods) comes with maybe 100 honor points when 14000 honor points are needed to unlock extra buildings. You’d need to spend thousands of dollars just to get that. The game works by collecting character cards, which you will need many of to upgrade your characters, getting rare cards becomes more and more difficult over time, and the events that spawn rare cards the easiest seem to no longer be in existence, likely from lack of players but I haven’t seen a single event yet. Game definitely has some cons now but it is one of the only games I’ve played for this long. But the previously free features, like the passes that unlock characters, starting having price tags added. Which, to be clear, I don’t necessarily mind, but 70$ for a battle pass? Not to mention most of the unlockable rewards are also behind a paywall, again, I expect this is of a free game, not a huge deal imo, but its not ‘1’ paywall, its literally dozens. Pages of 30$ ‘unlockable rewards’ of varying price tags and quality. I really enjoyed this game, what a shame. ### 5/5 — Pay to win but offers a lot *2022-05-28, version 2.28.9* So as people have mentioned for people that spend money the rewards are massive, but for people considering playing and want to do so for free don’t worry. I have obtained plenty of quality items in the game and high quality generals for absolutely free. The game rewards you plenty for just playing they just reward those that pay a lot more. Now if you want to be the best on the server you’ll hit a wall.
