I think most folks who thrift don’t have a lot of money to begin with, myself included. Why charge people outrageous monthly fees just to have access to a map of thrift stores when they could google that info for free? Is this app more concise and convenient? Yes! That’s why people want to sign up for it! But is it also lame and rude to charge for it? In my opinion, absolutely.

The number of things I had to click thru just to find out it’s subscription based gives major clickbait. Theres a “cancel anytime” option, but based on my initial experience, I wasn’t willing to sign up for the 7-day trial at the risk of not being able to easily cancel. Hard pass.

Like all the apps made by this publisher, this app presents itself as a free app for aspiring thrifters to find good spots, but it ends up as an unnecessary paid app which just scrapes data from apple and google maps.  You literally can not access the app until you have paid.  Steer clear of any apps published by these people.

Doesn’t mention you have to pay for it. So stupid. You think people who are trying to save money at thrift stores are gonna pay for an app that probably tells them what they already know? I know the “secret” spots in my area already. Just wanted to try this for fun. No thanks👎

I’ve never reviewed an app before, but I’m so annoyed that I have to. The concept of this app is cool in theory, but you have to pay $27 to unlock it. Every single detail is paywalled and there’s not even a free trial period to see if it’s useful to you. Don’t download unless you’re willing to blindly pay almost $30.

When you go in, it gives you a chance to put in your ZIP Code and it shows you that there’s tons of stuff around you, but it doesn’t really show you anything other than little dots on a map… Then it asks to charge you an annual fee before you’ve even had a chance to see what types of things they have on their list and if they’re any good. There are 1 million other yard sale and estate sale and flea market apps out there. Thrift stores are easily googled. No reason to pay an annual fee without even knowing if it’s gonna be any good.
