## What is ThriftyPickers?

ThriftyPickers helps you find thrift stores near you, see which ones are open right now, and find out what your finds are really worth.

Open the map and every thrift store around you appears, from big charity shops to small local resale stores. Tap a pin to see if it's open, then get directions in one tap. Spotted something on the rack? Scan it to see what it is and what it sells for.

NEW: VALUE SCANNER
Snap a photo of any thrift find and in seconds you'll see:
• What it is: name, brand, era and material
• What it typically resells for, with a low, likely and high value
• A verdict: Sleeper!, Great find, Fair price or Skip it
• Tips on checking it's genuine and what lowers its value
• Flipper mode: your profit after fees and shipping, before you buy

Every scan is saved in My Finds, so you can mark what you bought and see how much you've saved. Your first 3 scans are free.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See which stores are open now, with each store's full weekly hours
• Browse store photos, what each store sells and what it accepts as donations
• Find items for sale at Premier stores, with prices, posted by the stores themselves
• Read and write reviews from other thrift shoppers
• Save your favorite stores and find them again in seconds
• Call, get directions or visit a store's website straight from its page
• Search by city or ZIP code, or see the stores near you

### 5/5 — Much better now

*2026-10-19*

Finally made this app better and see more thrift shops. Hope they add more to it

### 1/5 — ADS of AI Porn on App

*2026-03-19*

Within 5 minutes of using I saw 2 ads for AI Porn. Inappropriate and not what I want to see on an app where I’m just trying to locate thrift stores. Disgusting. Will not be using the app and have already deleted.

### 2/5 — Nothing a Google Search couldn’t do

*2024-12-07*

I found no additional benefit or time saving features beyond what I could find typing “thrift stores near me” and it also immediately placed a permanent ad banner at the bottom of my screen wanting me to install a Meta app that tracks your searches and other activities related to this app. Deleted it.

### 1/5 — trashy app

*2024-08-18*

very poorly designed, and the stores don’t even show up on the map. not very user friendly either.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-04-06*

Doesn’t work. Look for stores I know are there and no sign of them on this app. Don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Better results from a Google search

*2023-06-19*

I really wish someone would make an app with this concept. I might just have to do it myself.. lol. when I searched my zip code nothing came up, when I searched my entire state, roughly 20 stores showed up on the map. It would be such an amazing app if it included all of the goodwill stores, Salvation Army stores, privately owned resale and antique malls, etc.

### 2/5 — Lacking Locations

*2021-09-29*

Doesn’t have ALOT of the locations around me. Bummer…

### 2/5 — Nice Try

*2019-09-16*

1 for the thought, another for the effort.
Several listings I see locally are duds.
A few are on the map in the wrong location.. but with the proper address.

But the worst thing.. it threw a full screen ad complete with all kinds of noise from out of nowhere.

That’s skanky behavior from that other platform with the robot.

Game Over

### 1/5 — ?

*2019-08-11*

Nothing

### 2/5 — Info out of date

*2019-08-10*

Not only are many stores not shown, but I see a number of stores listed that haven’t existed for years.
