I wanted to set up my membership again with a new bank account, there was no editing this. Tried repeatedly to reset my email and password. However I never received any of the several reset emails! I had to find my old phone so I could log in with saved details. I rang the sports centre directly about 4 times, they answered once after about 20 mins. A frustrating few hours to attempt to renew a membership that I’m seriously considering to forget about. I’m still no further forward! ### 1/5 — Keeps Sticking *2024-12-18, version 108.0* Started off great, but since they started advertising challenges, twice now it’s stuck on the advert and I can’t book or check classes. There are no new facilities at the leisure centre , there isn’t even a modern bike stand is an age where people are being encouraged to ride to places rather than drive. The bike stand they have is useless when most bikes have quick release wheels and there isn’t any cctv outside . ### 1/5 — As much good as a chocolate fire guard! *2024-04-05, version 107.33* The new App is worse than useless! ### 2/5 — Still waiting *2024-10-04, version 107.106* The steam room has been closed for months For some of us it’s part of the experience to meet likeminded people after a swim or gym session it’s a big miss. I know for certain some people have stopped coming to the centre because of the lack of desire to fix the problem. If you really wanted it fixed you could do more. At least post some updates on your intentions to fix it. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Receptionist very helpful *2024-09-03, version 107.63* Hi , I rang up yesterday as I had not been to the Gentle Exercise Class for a long time and I noticed the price was £6 - I thought had it gone up ? Anyway I decided to ring the leisure centre and check ( unfortunately I didn’t get the member of staffs name ), however she was extremely helpful and told me to sign off my app and then to sign back on again as I should only be paying £4 as I am over 60 . She amended the payment from her end so I got the concession discount . So thank you so much for your help and support I appreciate it . Kind Regards Rita ### 5/5 — Easy booking New App *2024-04-23, version 107.33* I like the new app it’s much easier to book and check me bookings. ### 3/5 — NEW APP FLAW *2024-08-02, version 107.63* New app better than old app to book but it doesn’t work as well with notifications if classes full and you select notify me of a space. It doesn’t update as quick if a space becomes available and it doesn’t send out the notification straight away as the old app used to. The app also has an option to send an enquiry if you have any queries on classes where you can add your contact number to be contacted when being looked at. That doesn’t happen you just get a big standard cut and paste email reply. Can’t see the app being updated to change space now free notification problem or a change to email reply due to cost of app update or staff levels to manage enquiry replies by telephone. ### 2/5 — Could be improved *2024-06-12, version 107.63* When signing up it asks for your sports centre. Then it lists activities at every sports centre in the area instead of just showing your local one.
