### 1/5 — App didn’t work, company couldn’t fix it

I am sad that this app didn’t work out for me, as I really liked it in the ten minutes when the app worked for me. However, when I made a small change, it completely stopped working. I sent messages to the company and never heard back. I called their support line multiple times. They were all very nice, but no one had a clue what to do. One person told me that I had the wrong number because they didn’t make that app. They had me delete and re install the app three times, even though I told them I’d already tried it. They cut me off by mistake. They told me multiple times that they’d connect me to tech support and never did. They were also very clear that tech support wouldn’t call me. After over an hour, I told them I had to leave, and she wouldn’t let me off the line, telling me she’d connect me to tech support, which didn’t happen. The company either needs to stop making the app or commit to supporting it.

Too confusing to set up, and if you’re using it at an event, then want to stop being in do-not-disturb for a moment to take a picture, it’s impossible. I’m going back to using just the app time limits I set up in my phone. I suppose this would work for some people, but not me.

I spend way too much time on social media and news apps and wanted to cut down. This makes it super easy to do. I use it to stop me from checking news right before bedtime so I don’t get riled up from all the crazy news of the world…
