Sometimes even after 5 tries it still doesn’t work, and I just have to hope I can afford what I’m trying to buy since I can’t check how much money I have. ### 1/5 — Travel Notice *2024-10-14, version 2024.4.0.10* It is strange to me how Thrivent can cancel my card that has not been reported stolen Because I am traveling. This is completely unacceptable since I give them the privilege of holding my money. That does not dictate them being able to tell me that I am required to let them know what country would stop what layover that I’m going to have in order to conduct my employment. This is unacceptable therefore I’m going to close my account. ### 1/5 — Mobile deposit is a pain *2022-11-07, version 2022.6.0.1* Great company, most of the app runs really well. The mobile deposit however will not accept the back of personal check without having to retake the picture 20-30 times. Even though the signature is visible and the picture is good, you cannot override the error message even though things are correct. If there was an override button it would be a fantastic app ### 2/5 — Moved the Log Off icon. Why? *2025-03-31, version 2025.2.2.3* I have the newest version (2025.02.02.3) and for some reason the UX folks thought it would be an improvement to move the Log Off icon under the “More” page. This app accesses legacy accounts. If you are a new customer with Thrivent Bank you will use the Thrivent Bank App. This app is for those of us who joined when it was previously Thrivent Federal Credit Union. ### 4/5 — Good app Thrivent...but you can do better *2016-09-05, version 5.0.1* The app is easy to use and makes banking so convenient. The reason for four stars is the mobile deposit could be better. Trying to keep the check in focus while tapping the screen can result in fuzzy pictures and needing to retake the photo. Why not use auto focus and auto capture so no tapping is needed?
