## What is Thronica?

The throne is yours. The choices are yours. The dice belong to no one.

Thronica is a single-player medieval kingdom game where every swipe is a choice and every choice can come down to a d20 dice roll. A narrative roguelite about ruling, dying, and building a dynasty, fully playable offline.

You take the throne as king. The High Judge brings you the voice of the people, the Marshal the demands of the army, the Treasurer the state of your coffers, the Duke the schemes of the nobles. Every card offers two paths, and every path moves four balances at once: People, Army, Treasury, Nobles. Let any of them hit bottom or boil over and your reign ends. A mighty army can protect you or replace you.

THE DICE CHANGE EVERYTHING
At critical moments the decision is yours, but the outcome rides on the roll. The d20 tumbles across the table: a 20 writes a legend, a 1 invites disaster. Your ruler's stats (might, charm, willpower and more) bend the odds. The same choice can end two reigns in two very different ways.

YOUR DYNASTY REMEMBERS
Death is not the end, only the end of a chapter. Your heir takes the throne, and the deeds of those before are never erased. The court chronicler records every reign in the Chronicle: your triumphs, scandals and betrayals all become history. Every reign writes its own story, and no two dynasties are ever alike.
