The graphics were amazing. The game play was smooth, and the puzzles in the game were the perfect mix of challenging but solveable. And then….deep into the game, you encounter a puzzle that’s so challenging, it’s nearly impossible. After days of trying, I realized that the only way out was to send them money, so you can buy rubies/tokens to skip the puzzle. I didn’t give up easily. I kept at the puzzle for days. I picked it up over and over, with new enthusiasm and confidence, but this was not a winnable situation. It’s been over a week now, and I’m deleting the app without seeing it through. I’m an avid adventure game player, and this is a very uncommon situation. I’ve played othef F2P without having to pay excessive $ for hints. Don’t mind paying once but not twice. I deleted without finishing. However, putting the option to get a hint or skip a minigame behind a paywall is greedy and doesn’t take into account players of different abilities or disabilities. My game is currently stuck at a puzzle that requires a lot of trial and error. I have MS with some cognitive impairment, and this puzzle would simply require too much work. Other such games let you play a free demo and then a flat fee for the rest of the game, including hints and skips. This is a much better deal for players like me. I hope one day the developers decide not to penalize disabled players by making us pay more to enjoy the entire story. **Developer response:** Good afternoon. You got to play for a bit then had the option to pay around £5 to buy the full game and that was it. Such a shame you’ve decided to to seek out and go down the in app purchase gems route. I don’t use hints all the time but you basically have to pay to skip any really hard puzzles if you’re struggling or if you need a hint. Please go back to the way it was before.
