I really like the computer software but their app is genuinely bad. It crashes mid estimates, takes for ever to load customer details. Messages sometimes don’t get sent and if it does it sends 2 or 3 times. Makes us seem unprofessional. Their computer software is great, I just wish they put in just as much work to their app

I’ve been using Thryv for 5 years. The mobile app on my iPhone hasn’t worked in a year. I have to go to my browser to utilize this software. The texting feature through the system hasn’t worked in two years. When I had a sales rep, things were taken care of quickly. I haven’t seen or heard from a Rep in a few years either. Going to be shopping for a new company to manage my website if they don’t step up their game. $360 per month adds up when the system is sub-par

Using this app in the field is awful! It’s sooo sloooow! And sometimes it won’t ever load and I need to delete the app and reinstall it. It’s fine when it works but truly there must frustrating app I have in my phone. These issues can be a huge problem in the field when I can’t load the notes with access information or contact information.

Yes, this portal is great for keeping your clients organized with scheduling appointments but the most frustrating part is when you use the phone app.  I constantly need to delete the app and add it back.  When viewing the calendar, it won’t pull up 50% of the time.

I just started with a company that uses this app. It really is a good app, if it wasn’t so “glitchy”.  I’ve been working for this company for 1 week, and I’ve had to delete and download the app 6 times already..

That’s why I’m writing this review. I’m here downloading it again to get it to work…

If using the app is important to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The app is glitchy, especially with corresponding to clients. I constantly have to restart the app to be able to switch between clients. 
What’s more, I’m trying to cancel my subscription to this app and I can’t get through to the “specialist” who can do that. Now I’m waiting for up to 48 hours for a call back from them. Super scammy. Not a fan. Don’t recommend. 
The website they created for me was fire but other than that, the experience has been so-so. And the social media posts are dumb. You definitely have to stay on top of them and work on getting content posted that is not repetitive and bland.

I use this app EVERYDAYand it seems it glitches more than it works lately… pretty disappointed that there’s really not anyone to complain to… to actually fix the situation…..

No signal or connection means you can’t get any info from the app. I am often in construction areas without signal and have multiple jobs in the same area. If I don’t screenshot the jobs i have to leave the area to get a signal and pray the app will open and load my calendar. Crashes all the time. Doesn’t update jobs unless i reset the app completely. Resetting the app means logging back in and confirming you are not a robot, which requires a connection. Note often do not save if you don’t close the keyboard. Current my calendar will not load even though i have cell service and wifi. This app just makes working a job more frustrating. Prove me wring.

Every few days i need to delete and redownload the app because it wont load. Makes me look totally unprofessional in front of my customers when i have to sit in front of them for 5 minutes messing with my phone until the app works just so i can put them on my schedule. They need to make the calendar and client list offline so there isnt an issue with this.

Using this app in somehow so much of a terrible hassle. Nothing works the way is should. I always feel like I’m wasting so much time with this app I would rather just write the stuff down on paper and be done in a few minutes. Even he simplest tasks take way too long with this app and good luck getting any of your progress to save.

The entire company is a scam. Paid $4000 a month for six months and never got one client. They could never show me these mystery ads they were supposedly running. Stay away if you value your business. They would always blame us for our phone, not ringing. Complete garbage company. They make all the promises in the world and they don’t keep even one of them. Worse experience of my life we shut our business down because of this company. It was just the final kick in the face.

My Instagram and Facebook had been hacked and when I found someone to fix it, we discovered that this company Thryv had taken control of it. I had never heard of them and certainly had never done any business with them and I recommend you don’t either because they are thieves.

Have been using Thryv for several years. It works OK on a computer, but completely unreliable app. I try to use it on an iPhone, latest edition and software, and on an iPad—totally unreliable on both. Sometimes it works great, the rest it will not even load. They just don’t realize that everyone does not sit in front of a computer all the time.

if i had one wish it would be to destroy this app. it is constantly glitching. any time i want to use it to book a job, i have to restart the app at least 3 times. it’s laughably bad. the search system essentially doesn’t work. what pushed me to write this review was the fact that i just now (after restarting the app at least 6 times) had to logout and log back in because only the menu would load. i let it sit for 5 minutes loading and it did nothing. truly baffling how bad this app is.
