This app is already out of the park. It’s easily become my favorite drum instrument app for making music mobile quickly. I only wish there were the option for closed hi hats to get the full expression out of the kit. Maybe some side sticks or things in the future if possible. But I absolutely adore this first version. This one is very basic but has a couple of good things - it has good sounding drum samples and it is extremely fast and responsive. It has potential to be something better still - if some form of connectivity functions could be implemented such as AUv3, or IAA to be able to connect with other audio apps like AUM for instance. That way it would become possible to record what you play, or even use some effects with it. Or maybe even some MIDI in to control the drums with an external MIDI controller or sequencer. That would seriously take this a step further and might actually make this a fun and useful app for iOS musicians to keep in their arsenal.
