### 5/5 — On par with UpToDate

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2018-08-09, version 4.5.1*

Thumbroll is kind of like visual flashcards. Before seeing a patient, I grab my phone, scroll through it and am ready to go

### 5/5 — Useful study app

*2018-07-19, version 4.5*

I highly recommend this app! The photos are great and easier to study than video. It’s also impressive that the content comes from Wash U in St. Louis. Looking forward to what they’ll add in the future.

### 5/5 — AMAZING FOR MED STUDENTS

*2018-07-19, version 4.5*

Perfect for med students! So easy to use! Will definitely share this with others!

### 5/5 — Effective for medical trainees

*2018-07-18, version 4.5*

Content:
Good range of skills/procedures. High quality images. Concise yet thorough text. Reputable sources. Impressive universities and programs for content.

Format:
Concept of the roller is interesting - allows trainees to see content at his/her own speed. Smart that the focal point of the procedure stays static - really allows you to see/analyze the one thing that's happening.

Overall Conclusion:
Quick and simple. Effective training app for medical students and residents (now mostly for interns until the procedures get more advanced). Good when you're on the go. Great supplement to other resources. Fantastic that it's available for free.

Rating: 5 stars.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2018-07-03, version 4.5*

As residents, we don’t have much time and for me, it’s hard to watch videos because they’re long, there’s sound so I need headphones, etc. Thumbroll is quick and I can review everything in meetings (since it’s quiet).

### 1/5 — Downgraded from a 5* app…

*2023-11-22, version 5.5.2*

Non-functional. I used to recommend this app to everyone because it was so incredibly helpful as a refresher before procedures (I’m a current resident) - now, despite logging in, I’m unable to use the app at all because it continuously forces the default login page to pop up. Logging in again doesn’t fix it. I tried reinstalling it to no avail. So sad.

Considering visual learning is really the best way to learn period, this application is similar to one on one skilled tutoring on call.
