## What is Thumbslate?

This free app for the hearing-impaired and their health care providers is private, HIPAA-compliant, and free. From the makers of Innaslide, now without sign language or lip reading, providers can speak aloud to their hearing impaired but literate patients! Patients will see our medically-fluent speech to text in real time, and the patient can type a reply and decide when it is ready to be spoken aloud by the device.
