It's appealing in a fuzzy woodland zombie sort of way and the game play is fun yet challenging. The problem of this rhythm game is the sound. It has all the musical appeal of a third grade class playing with toy instruments out of sync. I love music games, but they need, at least, tones that blend together. Also, I can hear that brief break between loops. That's a rookie mistake. ### 2/5 — Fun but flawed *2011-01-08, version 1.3* Playing this on my iPod touch 4g, there was a very noticeable gap in the music playing when each loop started over. This is unacceptable for a rhythm game such as this. If the music actually stayed in time it would be a fun game. I also didn't appreciate the popping up ad for the full version when I was looking at the unlocked creatures, as if they were trying to get me to buy it by accident. With the free version, I can play a little, but not all to really see what this game is all about. Thanks. ### 4/5 — Great but... *2010-04-02, version 0* It's fun as hell n like everyone said the graphics are marvelous but on the full version it has 2 thumpies falling and the timing for them is off so it's hard to look at one falling and look at the other falling as well. Now I'm a HUGE my singing monsters fan, and when I looked at the Thumpies description, I noticed they had their own game! So I checked this out and regretted it. I'm sorry Big Blue Bubble, but this game is creepy and horrifying. And I do not want to see them up close on my phone screen. Please change the look. Small gaps between loops of songs. Very small touch areas on drums, so sometimes your thumbs don't hit them if you're not looking directly at them (which is hard when you're focusing on many little dudes jumping around). VERY difficult to recognize the rhythm. Sometimes even after I've passed to the next round (by sheer luck), and after it adds the sounds I was playing to the track, it doesn't sound similar at all! The beats are all off. App STILL has ads even AFTER you upgrade. I hope this company is giving out refunds. ### 2/5 — Unlocking the game is NOT the full version?! *2011-04-03, version 1.3* It said in app shopper both versions (iPad & the original) were each 99 cents. But when I went to download it in the app store, the prices are way higher. I figured the listing was probably wrong. (which is upsetting to begin with because you have it written on Facebook that it is on sale for that). I saw that the unlock was only 99 cents, and as much as I hate in game purchases (because if you lose the backup you lose what you paid for) and it still has ads! Why would I pay for something with ads?! Isn't the unlock the same as the original version? It doesn't say otherwise. I want the full version or my money back that's crap. What else do I not have then the full version besides the lack of ads? Otherwise the game is fun and would get more stars.
