### 2/5 — It’s OK

*2026-05-24, version 0.8.6*

It has some quirks that make it annoying to deal with. It doesn’t load videos very well in-app. It will show the same set of posts in the same order again (I want to say 6 posts but I don’t have an actual count).
It is also very aggressive about sending you back to the beginning of the feed which you have already seen. I am aware of the option to hide viewed posts but that doesn’t feel right. I was writing a lengthy comment and wanted to verify something on Wikipedia quick. When I went back into the app, it showed the comment for a split second then booted me back to the beginning. No draft, and now I can’t even find the post since the search doesn’t work all that well. I’ll be looking for a new app

### 4/5 — My favorite UI, card view is great, now stable

*2025-08-30, version 0.7.3*

It was slow and buggy in the past but it has signifcantlly improved. They are also supporting android, so it is best if you want a consistent experience across devices. Slightly slower than native apps, but barely noticable now, mostly on initial load.
The card view here is my favorite, voyagers large view is slightly worse imo.
The beta supports piefed.

Missing features:
Blocking Users
Dms

Still use other apps for that sadly.

### 5/5 — My favorite UI, card view is great, now stable

### 5/5 — My favorite UI but its buggy and can be slow

*2025-06-01*

While I prefer this UI since it feels like a distinct experience and not like a clone of the old reddit apps, It can be very buggy and randomly slow to load things. They are also supporting android, so if you want a consistent experience across apple and android devices, while avoiding the browser, this is the best one.

Piefed is going to use some variation of this app also, if that matters to you.

### 2/5 — Wish I could like it

*2025-05-02, version 0.6.1*

This seems very buggy on iPad. Touchpad scrolling is wildly inaccurate. The app suddenly stops recognizing up or down votes. Replying to comments is cumbersome at the UI level. I wish I could like this app in its current condition.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-02-25, version 0.6.1*

Highly recommend as an alternative to the constantly degrading Reddit.

When you sign up you could start with Lemmy.world or Lemm.ee or Lemmy.ca for the “Instance” field…

@devs
Consider adding a setting to move the upvote/downvote score on comments to below the comment.
There needs to be a way to collapse nested comments without having to scroll all the way up to the original comment (press and hold? Or swipe option).
It would be nice if the Settings page stays open to the last page you visited when you switch between the Settings tab and the Feed tabs.
Also for some reason, when refreshing the main page (by dragging down) the read posts don’t disappear?!? Please fix this.

### 5/5 — Favorite lemmy client

*2025-02-15*

Think my review was removed? I like it better than the others on the appstore, dms dont seem to work but I dont use them so its not an issue, works very well, has a lot of customizability wish we could change the app icon tho, kinda dull and I look past it.

### 5/5 — Just tested it out and works great so far :)

*2025-02-13, version 0.6.1*

Trying this out as a popular FOSS alternative to voyager. Seems great so far. How a lot of customizations. All the bad reviews seem to be from a year ago.

### 5/5 — Fav Lemmy Client!

*2025-02-06, version 0.6.0*

Looking for open source Lemmy clients, I've tried all the usual suspects. Thunder works best for me by far. Some of the view defaults were originally kinda weird for me, but were easily customizable to my liking.

Great job, Devs!

### 5/5 — Excellent Lemmy client

*2025-01-25, version 0.5.1*

Lovely Material UI, quick and responsive, options for customizing, open source, etc. Love it, much better than Voyager for my use.
