This app is useless, offers nothing more than the website. Since y’all/Fatsoma won’t add Apple Wallet support I have to look for the email. Very annoying. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-01-16* The event had a partnership with ****mate, there were p***** on the table and a visual design of a v**** in the center. This was never disclosed. I was not going to attend such experience. There were also cameras filming all that. And no restroom. ### 3/5 — Tickets tab doesn’t work *2026-01-15* Scam. Tells you to access tickets through the app. App isn’t capable of opening the tickets tab. Within the invite, it said if u didn’t get a match, you would receive a complimentary ticket to the next event. The host even took my email down. Never received this ticket. Tried to find their CS within the app and website. Couldn’t find it. Contacted their IG as a last resort and never got a response. As much as I enjoyed these events and even got my friends to pay to attend the events, after this experience I don’t feel comfortable spending money for another Thursday event again. ### 3/5 — App seems glitchy *2026-01-14* The app is good for searching locally events, but there’s just a spinning wheel of death on the tickets and alerts tab. I can’t see anywhere to login on the home or search tabs. I had purchased my ticket online already, but I’ll just stick to using the emailed ticket and searching events online rather than have another app to manage. ### 1/5 — Ticket tab doesn’t work *2025-11-30* Unfortunately the tickets don’t show ### 1/5 — The ticket doesn’t load in the app *2025-11-17, version 4.9.2* I am not sure if this is by design but I bought the ticket for event but I can’t view my ticket in the app, it keeps loading but nothing come. Please fix this Issue or let me know if I can gain entry using the email ticket. ### 3/5 — Good Marketing, Flawed Execution *2025-10-31* Thursday markets themselves pretty well, although the events leave a lot wanting. A lot of events have a high male to female gender ratio. I did go to one more balanced one however, so that’s not true for all of them. There isn’t any structure to Thursday’s events. They throw you into an artsy, (admittedly pretty cool) space with a bar, and then for 2 hrs, you’re on your own figuring out how to connect with people. It might work for other people; however, I’ve struggled to connect with people in this environment. The environment is loud with music in the background. A number of people are inebriated by alcohol. And there’s no prompt or initial reason to connect with others. I think this is one step better than dating apps. However, still a lot less fulfilling than doing your hobbies, building your own community, and finding your purpose. I also think there are better live dating events out there with more structure. I’d say be cautious of the good marketing. Judge something by what it is, and see if that’s a good fit for you. ### 1/5 — Atrocious customer service and app design *2025-10-16* Genuinely, I bought a ticket and was billed on my card. Then received an email with a ‘receipt’ which had no receipt attachments except a survey link. Tried to get into contact with someone to at least confirm the event and I’m getting redirected to several different departments. Boggling an app is running this way in 2025. Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Not for all *2025-10-12* -I was interested in an event, but it was for people under 35, and I’m 39. -The event said they offer tickets split 50/50 between men and women, which shows it’s not designed for LGBT people—only straight ones. -For some events, women’s ticket prices are cheaper, which is deeply sexist and offensive. ### 1/5 — Events are lame *2025-10-10* The event I went to was mostly dudes. The Cannonball Singles Sunset Social on September 25th is being advertised in-app, yet the event was not purchasable through Fatsoma’s app. I was forced to go through the website instead. On top of that, I experienced broken autofill, login issues, and missing events — all while you continue to advertise seamless “official ticketing.” This is false advertising and consumer fraud. You advertise events in one channel, but fail to deliver tickets through it. The singles events are not worth attending. 40 men & 5 women (who were all quick to leave, as the vibe was just plain uncomfortable). ### 1/5 — Absolutely dreadful last 2 events *2026-05-31, version 5.0.0* 90% males, 10% females, paid £30 for a ticket and for the last two events tickets weren’t even checked at the door, just have random people who didn’t pay for a ticket getting free entry. Never seen such a bad gender ratio, I thought this was a one off so attended two more events to give it a go, same thing - 90% men. You’re better off going to a bar or club… ### 1/5 — Worst experience ever *2026-04-10, version 5.0.0* I initially thought paying to meet single people was a good idea, but I realized I only encountered others who were already in relationships or huge gripos of friends. If you’re attending alone, forget it—people will judge you, despite the event explicitly allowing solo attendance. It was the worst experience ever. ### 1/5 — Bad Events, Skip It *2026-03-27* I saw all the ads on Instagram so I thought I’d give it a go. Wow I was impressed how bad this event was in Philadelphia. I show up at the recommended time only to find out they’ve RUN OUT OF NAMETAGS. It’s literally a ticketed event where you’re supposed to meet people and they know how many people are coming, how do you run out of one of the only materials? I get no explanation of the event. Just Hi, scan ticket. I’m handed a red flag and that’s it. Honestly the biggest problem was that it was horribly unbalanced, 30+ men for maybe 9ish women? Half the women were one group of younger women who left when they realized everyone there was 30+. To add insult to injury at some point a host comes over and asks us how the “game” is going. We had no idea what the game was or how we were supposed to play it. Skip it, do pitch a friend or some other event instead. ### 1/5 — Reschedule and can’t get refund *2026-03-19, version 4.10.1* Event I was going to attend is being rescheduled and the system won’t let me submit a refund request as I can no longer attend ### 1/5 — What on earth have you done *2026-03-18, version 4.10.1* This app is now just buggy and weird to use. I can’t see any events and now it’s just basically Fatsomas app? ### 1/5 — The app is pretty bad *2026-03-17* Each time you open an app, you need to select your city again and again. It also logs you out. The account is built on Fatsoma, they reset password emails don’t work, the link goes just to the website, no option to reset password. I’ve been to one event, dinner one, it was okay, but I wouldn’t do it again. ### 1/5 — Disorganized Disaster *2026-02-27* I want to leave this poor review in effort to make this business get the message and improve. They have something very special and important in today’s society in their hands, but their events are being poorly managed. I went to a “Love is Blind” event in Raleigh. I showed up a few minutes early and when I arrived the event manager told me the event would start in an hour. This event was held right in the middle of a crowded restaurant/ bar with the restaurant’s regular customers there as well. I talked to the other people who were there for the event for an hour and 20 minutes, then the event finally started. There was only two people who were blind folded- one guy and one girl. They each chose between 3 contestants. So, only 8 people out of about 60 got to participate in the real event, and they were chosen at random. Also, the room was so loud hardly anyone could even hear what the contestants were saying. They really should have brought a microphone. I stayed after the event to talk to the others, but unfortunately did not truly connect with anyone. I saw many faces of others walk out of the restaurant in disappointment as they came looking for love, but did not get a chance to connect with anyone. I would have paid triple for the real experience- getting to participate, hear the contestants, the event starting on time, and for the event to be held in a private room. ### 1/5 — Canceled event w no notice *2026-02-19* Paid for an event hosted by Thursday. Event was canceled with no prior notice. Love the app, simple, straightforward UI, found the events are fun and seriously anything that gets people face to face is an A+ in my book. ### 5/5 — Rate the events *2025-03-19, version 4.5.0* I’ve attended a few Thursday events now, and I can confidently say it’s been a fantastic addition to my dating life and social calendar. The atmosphere at these events is incredibly welcoming, everyone is super duper friendly, and there’s a genuine sense of openness that makes meeting new people feel natural and enjoyable. What really stands out is the relaxed vibe; there’s no pressure, and nobody feels judged, which is so refreshing in the dating scene and have been to other dating events where this happens but not on thursday. Venues are cool too but could mix them up a bit more. I really appreciate how Thursday has created a safe space where people can just be themselves. If you’re looking to meet new people in a laid-back, enjoyable setting, I can’t recommend their events enough! ### 5/5 — Love! *2025-03-17, version 4.5.0* Such a unique idea.
