The Thyroid Nodule and Cancer Guide is a powerful app that educate patients (and doctors) in the analysis of thyroid nodule(s). The app provides a 3D picture of what your thyroid looks like and how thyroid nodules are growing over time. The app provides thyroid cancer risks and the potential need of biopsies and even thyroid surgery based upon your own data. The app will analyze blood tests, ultrasound evaluation of the thyroid gland and lymph nodes, needle biopsy and genetic analysis results, and other thyroid cancer related issues. The app requires a thyroid ultrasound or CAT scan to work. The dial does not let you go back before that. So I can only enter one scan and I have to use the wrong date. ### 3/5 — Kind of cool . Little disappointed. *2020-01-23* I like the premise of this app . But it needs more options . They didn’t find my nodule on ultrasound but catscan and then had to go back to ultrasound to look for it . Papillary carcinoma was discovered after surgery to remove my left thyroid . Three nodules were found instead of just the one viewed , along with Hashimotos. If you go by the app . I wouldn’t even had surgery. ### 2/5 — Lab section disappoints *2018-10-29* Of the specific thyroid labs, it only allows for inputting results for TSH, T4 and T3. No Free T4, Free T3, Reverse T3? Those are the better labs to be tested for, and they are not listed. **Developer response:** We do not ask for those labs because this is a thyroid nodule and cancer app. This is NOT a thyroid function app. The labs we look for could possibly play a role in determining the risk of cancer in a thyroid nodule or the potential need for surgery.
