## What is Thyrowise?

Levothyroxine is simple in theory and fiddly every single morning: empty stomach, wait before coffee, keep calcium and iron hours away, and hope the next TSH lands where your doctor wants it.

Thyrowise is the quiet record that makes that routine visible — logged in seconds, stored only on your phone. No account. No cloud. No AI guessing what your labs mean.

FREE, FOREVER
• Mark today's dose in one tap, and get a countdown to when you're clear for coffee and breakfast
• One-tap symptom chips: fatigue, brain fog, feeling cold, hair loss, low mood, palpitations and more
• Log TSH, free T4, free T3 and TPO antibodies from your own lab report
• Set your own TSH band — the target your doctor gave you, not a generic range
• Log every dose change, so the story has the events in it
• Daily reminder, plus a nudge when the post-dose wait is over

ON YOUR WRIST AND LOCK SCREEN
• Home and lock screen widgets: today's dose, the coffee countdown, and your latest TSH against your band
• Mark the dose straight from the widget — the app never has to open
• Apple Watch app: dose, symptoms and your TSH trend, from the wrist
• Siri and Shortcuts: "I took my thyroid pill." "Log a symptom." Say it in your language
• Apple Health: your weight, sleep and resting heart rate shown beside your log
• Spotlight: look up any thyroid lab and its reference range from your home screen

EVERY NUMBER IS SOURCED
Thyrowise does not invent medical information. Every reference range, retest interval and medication rule in the app links to the professional society or national health institute that published it — the American Thyroid Association, the NIH's NIDDK, and MedlinePlus. Tap "Medical sources" in Settings, or the source badge next to any statement, to read the original.

THYROWISE PRO
• TSH trend against your own band, with dose changes marked on it
• What a dose change actually did — symptoms and TSH, before versus after
• Symptom frequency, last 30 days against the 30 before
• Doctor-ready PDF and CSV export

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no data collection, no ads.

Thyrowise is a tracking and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and nothing in it replaces your doctor's instructions. Reference ranges differ between laboratories — always use the range on your own report and the target your doctor set.

SUBSCRIPTION
Thyrowise Pro is available as a yearly subscription with a free trial, a monthly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings.

PLANS
• Thyrowise Pro Monthly — 1 month, auto-renewing
• Thyrowise Pro Yearly — 12 months, auto-renewing, with a 7-day free trial
• Thyrowise Pro Lifetime — one-time purchase, never renews
Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-25

Running out, and what to do about it.

• Count what's left. Enter how many tablets are in the box and Thyrowise counts down by the day, then says something a week before you run out. Off by default — nobody is made to count anything.
• Mark the dose straight from the notification, or push it back ten minutes. A reminder that arrives while you're driving is no longer simply lost.
• Your next appointment, with a reminder a few days before — time enough to generate the doctor summary and add what you meant to mention.
• Back up everything to a single file you keep yourself, and restore from it. There is no server, so this is the honest counterpart: your history, your file, nowhere else.
• Log the manufacturer beside the dose. A pharmacy handing you the same dose from a different maker is a real event, and now it has somewhere to go.

Fixed: the dose-impact card could report a worsening that never happened. It divided a week's worth of logs by a flat thirty days, so anyone whose logging didn't reach a month before the change had their "before" figure understated. It now says plainly when there isn't enough history to compare against.

Nothing here interprets anything. Every medical statement still links to the body that published it.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-17

Ultrasound tracking, and more of your panel.

• Follow each nodule on its own — its size, its TI-RADS category, and whether it changed since the last scan. Gland volume too.
• Total T4, total T3, thyroglobulin antibodies and reverse T3 can now be logged alongside the free measurements.
• Set your own Free T4 and Free T3 ranges. Off by default — but if you're on T3, TSH alone doesn't tell the story.
• Weight gain and weight loss are separate symptoms now, and inflammation was added.
• Adding a second medication is finally where you'd look for it. It always worked; it was just hidden.
• Add your own symptom chips when the built-in list doesn't cover what you get.
• Antibody results no longer carry a built-in range. TPO cut-offs differ widely between labs, so a result could be judged against a threshold your own lab never used. The number is recorded now, and the app says nothing about it.

Nothing here scores your scan or interprets your report. Where no published reference range exists, Thyrowise records the number and says nothing about it. Every medical statement still links to its source.

Thank you to everyone who asked for these.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Almost everything in this update came from people on r/Hashimotos who tried the app and told me what was missing. Thank you.

• Set the time you actually took your dose. The wait countdown now counts from that moment, not from the alarm — so if you take it at 4:20am and log it later, the timing is still right.
• Free T4 and T3 in pmol/L, for the UK, EU, Canada and Australia. Previously only ng/dL was accepted, so valid results were being rejected.
• Different doses on different days — 100 mcg four days a week, 125 the other three.
• Longer absorption waits: 90 minutes and 2 hours.
• The symptom list no longer scrolls sideways, and every chip is easier to hit.
• Fixed notification timing for doses logged late, plus a number of missing translations.

Keep the requests coming — a food and elimination-diet tracker is next.
