It is, if you like the style of Tempest and its flashy sequels then you will love this. Why play other boring looking ones when you can play this? The ads are on the bottom and non intrusive. You can play vertically with either end being the top of the screen, however, horizontal mode is not supported. I’m taking a chance I know by posting this review for an app that hasn’t received an update in over 2 years but the sound effects that I really love hearing (especially the fireworks exploding…) no longer work! I also have a iPhone 7 which I try to use regularly and keep up to date with the latest iOS version just as I do with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and sound effects on this app on my iPhone 7 no longer work too… I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app on both iPhones but this hasn’t fixed the sound effects not working problem.
