### 5/5 — No complaints!

*2025-01-30, version 3.0*

Does everything it’s advertised to do, and it’s pretty fun; more than I expected from a blank screen. One thing I would improve is that the haptics when losing in sprint are a bit unclear. I would make it a bit longer than it currently is.

### 5/5 — Simple and fun

*2025-01-28*

Awesome

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! :)

### 5/5 — very nice!

*2024-12-29*

i saw the ad for this game on youtube a few weeks ago, and i was intrigued but didn't purchase it. i got an apple watch for christmas, though, and was surprised to see it ALSO have a watch app. i caved and spent the few bucks to get it. for a game with no UI, no music, and no visuals at all, i'm very impressed. you guys have clearly put a lot of love into this and i really like it.

**Developer response:** I am so glad you like the app and also found our Apple Watch version! Your review totally made my day :)! Thanks for purchasing Tic and for taking the time to leave a review as well!

### 5/5 — lowkey a w game

*2024-12-26*

I like the new concept, whether your blind, deaf or a regular person, you can always play it

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! It is definitely a really new and inclusive concept, and the fact that you like it really means a lot! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review as well!

### 5/5 — this is actually such a good game

*2024-12-19*

at first i thought it wasnt gonna be made well and it wasnt gonna be good but i was so bored during my almost 2 hour science class and i decided to get it . i saw a trailer on yt a while ago and was gonna get it i never did until i decided to in class. its lowkey so fun its worth the money i would pay more 🔥😁👍

**Developer response:** This review totally made my day, thanks so much! I am super glad you like the app and that it helped out in class! ;p The fact that you found it worth the price also means a lot! Thank you so much!!

### 5/5 — Epic game to play when bored

*2024-12-15, version 2.12*

👍

### 5/5 — Oops im so sorry i accidentally left a one star review it was an accident

*2024-12-15*

.

**Developer response:** Update: Oh! No problem, thanks for changing it! :)

You are correct, the app is designed for iPhones only, not for iPads, since iPads don't have haptics the same way iPhones do. Most apps for iPhone work on iPads as well, so they show up as an option to download on iPad - I have tried to stop this on my end as a developer but have not found a solution yet.

I am sorry about any confusion this has caused. In case you only wanted the app for iPad, I request that you please return the app as soon as possible. Thank you.

### 5/5 — get this before it’s too late

*2024-12-09*

I wish I discovered this in high school it’s super discreet and requires u to pay even more attention than calculator minecraft

**Developer response:** Thank you so so much! I'm super glad you like the game and I agree it would have been perfect back then. I hope it still comes in handy in other situations where you don't want those around you to know you're playing a game! ;) Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, I appreciate it!

### 5/5 — fun during class

*2024-12-04*

this app has helped me get through boring classes without getting in trouble

**Developer response:** I am so glad! :) Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, I really appreciate it!

### 5/5 — Awesome game! (Category change request)

*2024-11-29, version 2.12*

One thing I would love is if you changed the category of the app to entertainment (or something similar that isn’t games) My parents got a time limit on the games app category, but not on entertainment or anything else. I know this is probably impossible as it’s a game and it would probably make it harder to find or something. But if it is possible then that would be amazing!! If not that’s okay just wanted to put that out there, and no harm in trying. 😅🙏

### 5/5 — Pretty Cool

*2024-11-25*

It’s more fun than I thought I’d be. Worth the money.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much! I'm super glad you found it worth it, thanks so much for the review! ;)

### 5/5 — Great concept :)

*2024-11-24*

I tap my fingers when I’m bored constantly, so I love the idea of turning that into an actual game! And I’ve wanted a game where you don’t have to look at the screen ever since I realized you could play rhythm games like A Dance of Fire and Ice blind once you mastered them. As someone with ADHD this could seriously come in handy 🙏 Also, the fact that it claps when you succeed is just rlly cute.

**Developer response:** Thank you so so much, I am really glad you like the app and are finding it useful with ADHD as well. I'm glad you like the clapping haptic too ;) I appreciate the detailed review - it means a lot! :)

### 4/5 — this is fire but

*2024-11-23*

$1.5 is crazy 💀

worth it tho

**Developer response:** Glad you found it worth it, and thanks for buying ;). Thanks for the review too!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Installing error

*2024-12-08*

Does not install on Iphone SE 2016. Due to the watchkit 2.0 info.plist key ITSAppUsesNonExempt-Encryption

**Developer response:** I saw your comment about this with more information. I am sorry, but I can't do anything on my end for issues on jailbroken iPhones, I can only solve issues that occur from regular purchases in the App Store. I also saw that you refunded the app, for which I am extremely glad since I would hate for you to be charged for something that is not working on your device.

Thank you for your interest.

### 1/5 — novel idea, needs work

*2024-10-03*

too difficult. the reverb of the haptic is confusing. is that a second tap? the onboarding should be more guided and easier to start. maybe even have a visual training wheels for beginners ir different difficulty levels. install some type of analytics so you can measure how your users are doing. my guess is people are getting g frustrated and not opening the app up again.

**Developer response:** I am sorry to hear you did not like the app and found it too dificult. The way the game works is that if you mess up while tapping the sequence out, then it plays a small error haptic, and the same sequence repeats to help you on your next attempt. If you succeed then there is a clapping style haptic that is distinct from the error one, and the next sequence is played.

There is a detailed tutorial you can see if you click the ? at the top right when you first open the app, or if you close the app completely and open it again. I would suggest reviewing that one more time, since it has some visual training included.

We have tried to make the game difficulty at a level where it is not too hard or too easy. I appreciate you taking the time to give this feedback though. I will consider adding a way to adjust the difficulty in a future update. Till then I would recommend trying one more time after going through the help section, hopefully you don't find it so bad.

### 2/5 — Dont think it works for iPad

*2024-12-06*

tried it, but then, felt no vibrations

**Developer response:** You are correct, the app is designed for iPhones only, not for iPads, since iPads don't have haptics the same way iPhones do.

Thank you.

### 3/5 — Good, but I’m having an issue

*2024-12-09*

So when I go into it and press start, it’s not got a completely black screen as advertised. But instead there is a massive grey blob in the middle. I don’t know if this is a simple fix or if it is like that for everyone and it was just false advertising. Thank you

**Developer response:** This should not be happening. The only thing on the screen after you click start should be a very tiny white dot in the corner of the screen so that you know the game is on without anyone else knowing.

Please email me more details at freestyle.feedback@gmail.com, and I will work to solve your issue.

### 3/5 — Cool idea but

*2024-11-20, version 2.11*

I can’t play it as intended because I can’t feel haptics as much, so I need to flip my phone upside down and put as much of my palm/fingers area on the back as possible for a good performance

### 3/5 — macht spaß

*2024-10-06, version 1.2*

aber flasht mich nicht und ist nach 10 minuten langweilig.

### 4/5 — Good game but visual glitch

*2025-11-11*

On ios 26, instead of the screen being black there is a big grey button in the middle

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review, and sorry to hear you are having issues with Tic! Could you please email me about this at freestyle.feedback@gmail.com (with a screenshot if possible) and I will get this fixed ASAP.

### 4/5 — I’ve had for a while and very good!

*2025-02-03, version 3.0*

I’ve had this game for about 7 months and it is alright for 3 months I was very confused on how to play because the tutorial is quite bad, especially for new game mode sprint, I have no idea how to play, it’s fun sometimes but, ya know, I don’t know how to play because of how poorly explained the tutorial is but that’s a me problem I guess

### 4/5 — Creative app

*2024-12-25*

I’ve never heard of anything like this, and it’s a lot of fun! I recommend adding more modes or options. What if you had to hold down for a certain amount of time? More settings would be nice. Super fun though and worth it if you have to sit through boring things.

**Developer response:** Thank you so so much! I am really glad you like the app, and I agree for the future the option for additional game modes and having to hold down is something that would make the app even more fun! Thanks so much for the review!! :)

### 4/5 — Having to pay is crazy

*2024-12-11*

It just feels weird having to pay for vibrations. It’s well made and it works as expected and advertised, but I can’t get over the fact I had to pay for this

**Developer response:** I am glad to know the game is working as advertised, and thank you for your purchase. The price is primarily to justify the time and effort that went into conceptualizing, developing, testing, & marketing the game - along with charges to post to the App Store.

I hope the app is able to prove its value over time by coming in handy in situations where you want to play something less stimulating and more discreet than a typical game. Once again I do appreciate your purchase, and thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! :)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fun game, I quite enjoy the sprint mode

*2026-03-09*

I have 1 quick question tho, how do you leave a current game on Apple Watch and how do you play spring mode in an Apple Watch?

**Developer response:** I am really glad you like the game! You can return to the home screen at any time by rotating the Digital Crown more than half way. Also, Sprint mode is only available on the iOS version of the app, which is why you can't find it on the Apple Watch, although I will add it to my notes to possibly add it in a future update!

If you have any further questions or feedback please feel free to reach out to us at freestyle.feedback@gmail.com! Thank you for purchasing Tic! and for leaving a review! :)

### 5/5 — i like this

*2026-01-26, version 3.1*

that’s all i have to say

### 5/5 — Very original idea

*2025-12-29*

What a fun game, never seen something like this before, and it confuses others so bonus points!

### 5/5 — I’ve had for a while and very good!

*2025-06-30*

**Developer response:** I am so glad to hear you like the game! Thanks so much for trying it out and also for leaving a review! :)

### 5/5 — Refreshingly Different!

*2025-04-13*

I love playing this game when I want to clear my mind. By having to focus on the haptics without any visual or audio interruptions, it helps me tune out the noise of everyday life. It’s almost like a fun little meditation session. Perfect way to take a break from all the distractions and clear your mind!

**Developer response:** I am really glad to know you like the game and are finding it useful for meditation! The minimalistic nature of the game really does make it therapeutic! :) Thank you so much for the review!

### 5/5 — Worth the 2 dollars and 6 cents

*2025-03-16*

I was the one who commented on your YouTube ;)

Absolutely worth the 2 bucks. Perfect game and idea. One glitch though- the button is just a giant gray button on the iPhone version. The Watch version is just fine.

Could you make it so on the iPhone app, it makes sound with silent mode off like it does on the Watch version? (I get why it does that because the sounds). Sound helps me memorize it more.

Really enjoyed this game. 5 stars.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the in depth review! I am really glad you found the app to be worth the money and are enjoying the game! I will consider adding an option for sound for the iOS version in the future. In regards to the issue about the large gray button, I would appreciate if you could send me your device version and a screenshot at freestyle.feedback@gmail.com, and I would be happy to look into it further.

Once again thanks for finding the app through YouTube and giving it a go! I really appreciate it! ;)

### 5/5 — Bang for your buck

*2025-03-09*

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-02-09, version 3.0*

### 5/5 — amazing

*2025-01-30*

we
equivalent to AAA graphics and an incredible story, how do you manage this?
it’s one of the greatest games and i don’t know how eldenrings dlc got an award over this

**Developer response:** I really appreciate your thoughtful review my friend! Yes, our graphics team really outdid themselves on this one, and the storyline took months, I’m glad to see it paid off! ;)
