Tichu is a partnership game for four players where partners battle to be the first to play all of their cards and score points. Each hand is filled with strategy and risk. This is a fun game with a lot of strategy. But I can’t beat the single player bots on their default mode. I have like a 16% win rate, and even when I play using the hints I can’t win hands. I’m not docking rating since it’s a good game but am I just bad?? Unlucky??

After a 9-year wait for updates, this 2025 release is deeply disappointing. Game sessions expire every time the app is closed — when you exit and reopen, the active game is completely gone. The app also repeatedly asks to add a username, even when one was already set.

Offline play, which used to work in previous versions, is no longer possible at all. On top of that, the app is unstable: frequent crashes, unresponsive buttons, and basic navigation issues make it frustrating to use.

Overall, this feels far below expectations for such a long-awaited update and seriously impacts the core experience of playing Tichu

I’ve had this app for a long time, and been thru many updates. The current version is great!  The double-tap to select is a good way to learn about the possibilities of what you can play. I like the flexibility of positioning the play button on the screen. The art is great, and you can choose an aesthetic that works for you.

I’m enjoying the updates but trying to figure out how the rankings work- I will win a game but my ranking drops by 4 points. Or sometimes it increases by 20 points? It would be a great addition to add some info in the online help section. Thanks

I’m over 50 & have been playing this game for years. It was my favorite game. Last week I opened and played as normal. Last night I opened it and it looks totally different, my names I had for the 3 “computer players” have changed as well as all my settings and I can’t change them back. Also, the cards are so small I can’t clearly see the numbers. Please change the game back, or I’ll have to sadly delete the app forever.
