## What is Tick Pop?

TickPop turns the endless cycle of household chores into a game your whole home actually wants to play.
Create a room for your house, flat, or family, invite everyone with a single link, and put every chore on a shared board. Each task is worth XP: finish it, earn the points, and climb your room's leaderboard. Streaks, levels, and badges keep everyone coming back — and the dishes finally get done without a single reminder text.

Notifications have landed!

TickPop can finally tell you what's happening in your room, the
moment it happens.
• Know when a housemate pops a quest, joins the room, or unlocks
  a badge
• Get a heads-up in the morning for quests due today
• Find out who took the crown when the weekly leaderboard resets
• Nudge a housemate about the board — tap their avatar at the top
  of your board

You decide what you hear about. Settings → Notifications has a
switch for every category, and you can turn the whole lot off
whenever you like.

Board fixes
• Long columns scroll properly again
• Swipe a card LEFT or RIGHT to move it between columns — it used
  to be up and down, and that was fighting the scroll
• Tap To Do / In Progress / Done at the top to switch columns

### 1.1 — 2026-08-20

• Bottom sheets now follow your theme. Task details, new task, create
  room, join room and share room no longer open as a bright white panel
  over a dark screen.
• Task titles, subtasks and progress cards are readable in Dark Mode
  again.
• Buttons like Cancel, Sign Out and Delete are no longer washed out in
  Light Mode.
• The selected tab in the navigation bar and the section headers in
  Settings now stand out clearly on light backgrounds.
• Sign-in and sign-up buttons show a visible loading spinner, so the
  screen no longer looks frozen while you wait.
• Empty states, error messages and card subtitles across Activity,
  Achievements, Profile and Leaderboard are much easier to read in Dark
  Mode.
• Onboarding, the due-date picker, the search bar and leaderboard
  avatars all respect your theme now.
