## What is Tick Tock?

Tick Tock is an exciting game of skill, strategy, and endurance, played for real Cash Prizes. Through the use of free Bids, the objective of the Game is to gain position as the Last Bidder or Longest Bidder in the Game, all while a Game Clock counts down to zero.

Each Bid is timed to determine the Longest Bidder by measuring how long a Player holds the Current Bid position before the next Bid overtakes it. But each Bid also adds more time to the Game Clock, though it will never exceed its original starting time. Hold the Current Bid or Longest Bid when the Game Clock hits Zero and you Win.

Best of all, Tick Tock is completely free to play! Compete against players from all over the country to win a constantly increasing Cash Jackpot. The longer the Game lasts, the bigger the Jackpot grows. Win the Game and you win the Cash. It’s as simple as that!

### 1/5 — App needs updated..

*2022-12-30, version 1.5*

Either the app really needs updated or it's completely rigged..

### 5/5 — Legit!!!

*2022-08-05, version 1.5*

I can’t believe this app doesn’t have more downloads! Like others have said it’s hard to find an actual app that pays. But this one does! And the best part is it’s all free. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking for honest developers.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Regarding the downloads, we have really focused on feature improvements and server stability so far, so we really haven't promoted the Game much to anyone. People just find it randomly in the App Store, but we welcome more Players. The more Players we get, the bigger the Prizes will get. So tell your friends!

### 5/5 — Awesome game

*2022-06-19, version 1.5*

I love this game I have won over $500 for this game it’s amazing and challenging! The only thing I can say that I don’t like about this game is that the game start so late(8pm) my time so a lot of times I don’t get to play this bc of work and you know life! Other than that it’s amazing

**Developer response:** Thank you for the Review. Regarding the Game Start times, we have tested a number of start times and the best time continues to be 8pm EST to get the most Players. Every time we start it earlier we get less Players and the Game ends quickly. This probably won't be a issue with more Players, so hopefully we can grow and make the start times earlier.

We do have to balance the East Coast and West Coast time zones as we have Players from all over the country, so 8pm EST seems to fit the best for now. But we are open to changes when they help the Game. Thank you for the review!

### 3/5 — Good Game-Poor Management

*2021-02-17, version 1.3*

I’d like to start off by saying that the idea behind this game is awesome! To win as much money as I have playing a game is unheard of in the game app world. I’ve had fun playing the game from time to time too.

I have two big complaints that have significantly diminished my experience playing this game however.

1. Biased play/Team play/Targeting

Because I’ve won a good amount of money in the game and the game has a small player pool, players hold grudges and regularly target and team up on me in mini battles. I’ve received hate messages on social media and on players profiles directly related to me winning. This biased, toxic playing environment combined with a small player pool and team play makes it near impossible to win games anymore. What’s the point of playing a mini battle when one player simply waits to bid when you bid. Not playing to win, just to keep you from winning. This is an unfair playing environment. And nothing has been done by the developers to ensure an equal winning opportunity for all players, regardless of their leaderboard standing.

2. Inconsistency when enforcing rules

This is an issue with how the game is managed by the developers. Earlier in the game, cheating was a big issue. While the cheating has been reduced, the enforcement of game rules is very subjective. For example, I’ve known players who have been banned simply for writing a bad review on the app (one that was true, but the developers claimed was false). On the same note, I’ve known players who have cheated multiple times and made multiple accounts. Some of these players (one in particular) is still playing. Other players have sent hate messages, openly colluded, made fake accounts, and used auto bidding software, and were given multiple warnings before being banned. Others, no warning at all. While I’ve never been banned or been accused of cheating by the developers, I still view this subjective treatment between different players very alarming. Especially given the fact this is an app playing players and supposedly ensuring equal winning opportunity for all.

I hope the app continues to improve, but some of these issues go further than the game itself and more to how it and its players are managed.

**Developer response:** Hi NViking, thanks for taking the time to give feedback. Regarding the Doomsday Clock length, the reason we extend it to longer periods is to give Players the chance to win more money. As you know, the longer the Game goes, the bigger the Jackpot gets. This also allows more time to win Battles and Unlock Levels, including Money Battles. We also needed to test some longer Games this week to test our server improvements, so far so good.

One thing to remember, we have kept the Player pool small so far on purpose to stress test servers and improve some features. As the Game grows with more Players, it will be very difficult for Players to team up, which as you noted, can impact the Game right now with the smaller Player pool.

We really appreciate you taking the time to review us. We have some new features coming soon, including the Hourly Bonus, which we think Players will love. More chances to win Money! Good luck.

### 5/5 — Awesome, legit game!

*2020-12-14, version 1.3*

It’s a good app. I’ve won over $500 from this app.

I recommend trying the app out! The support team is awesome and the payouts arrive quick!!

Only thing I wish could be different is when the clock hits 0, the game should end instantly instead of having to have a loading screen, causing some other players to not win when they should have. I don’t know... that’s just what I feel but other than that, I really enjoy this app. Five stars!!! 🙂

**Developer response:** Moreena,

Thank you for the great review. Addressing your concern about the Clock hitting 0 and the Game not ending, you should know that because this is a mass multi-player Game where every individual Player App is connected to a Game Server, it is the Clock on the Game Server that ends the Game, not the one you see in your App.

The Game Server and the App Clock are obviously synced as close as possible, but some Apps may have slight lags due to connection speeds or signal strength, so when you see your App hit 0 and the Game does not end, that is usually because your App has not yet received the updated data from the Game Server. It is micro-seconds of difference, but it will at times give the appearance of the Clock hitting 0 on your App when it really hasn't on the Game Server.

Hope that makes sense. We can assure you that the Game Server always has the accurate data and rewards the correct Winner, so Apps are updated as quickly as possible, which is why you see Games not ending when you think they should have.

Good Luck in future Games!

### 1/5 — Banned after writing a negative review

*2020-06-20, version 1.2*

UPDATED June 19, 2020: ORIGINAL REVIEW WRITTEN ON June 16, 2020.

If I could give this app 0 stars, I would.

*The developers falsely stated that I wrote this review because I was banned. After I confronted them by email about the false information in their response to my review, they locked my account BECAUSE OF this review. It is important to know that they explicitly lied in their response in an attempt to invalidate my review. I was never previously banned nor warned of cheating. I was NOT a continuous player for 6 months. I used the app on and off for only about 2 months. Not sure what I expected from such poor service and unprofessional personnel. *

I rated this app 1 star for several reasons.

1. There is currently a small player base, and within that player base, a lot of people know each other and, therefore, cheat together (team play, straight up multi accounting, etc). The app seems to occasionally suspend players, only to let them play later because they haven’t been able to attract enough new/outside players to keep the game alive.

2. The developers will make you believe that you don’t have to spend hours every day to win money on the app. While it is true that every once in a while, a player may throw a single bit in and win, you’ll notice the structure of the game encourages people to pull all-nighters and play all day long for the large jackpots.

3. The developers are pretty unprofessional. You can check out the game’s Twitter page to see how they actively participate in arguments with (formerly) suspended or banned players.

4. The game is just not that fun or entertaining. There’s nothing, other than money (or, in some cases, spite), to motivate game play.

Ultimately, the biggest motivating factor for this low rating is the 1st point. There seems to be little respect for the game rules by the developers, and subsequently, the players. Do you really want to play a game that’s riddled with players who blatantly cheat?

**Update responding point-by-point to developer’s inaccurate and false response.**

1. You do not have any consistent policies. You say you warn, suspend, then band players. I was given no warning or suspension before you locked me out of my account AFTER I wrote this review. I have several documents of evidence to support this. Additionally, your banned players do not “disappear forever.” One in particular was just allowed back into the game (I have screenshots of communications and other evidence to support this as well).

2. I never said you encourage people to play straight through the game or that you take any actions to prolong the game. I am curious if you even actually read my review? The way the game is structured IS unhealthy, and you would be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t pulled an all-nighter defending a long bid for the jackpot.

3. I stand by my statement that your communications are unprofessional. Several known suspended and banned cheaters have written negative reviews of your app, and you have not called any of them out as suspended or banned in your response, but you call me out falsely in an effort to invalidate this genuine negative review of your app. Additionally, you say you respond to support emails immediately, and yet after you banned my account (no warning, no suspension, and absolutely no reasoning provided), you have refused to respond to me to provide explanation. I have several screenshots of showcasing how you deal with complaints and negative critique in an unprofessional manner.

4. My personal opinion on the entertainment value of the game still stands.

5. Completely false information. My honest review must have really struck a nerve with you that you went as far as lied openly in public about my account (which prior to my email to you could not even be linked to this review). I guess some people can’t handle the truth. It should be concerning to you that multiple people have brother similar issues to your attention about this app. Instead of improving you game and the player experience, you attempt to silence all negative critique.

I think it says a lot about the app when the developers are willing to go on a witch hunt to ban individuals who have and express issues with the app. Again, I have plenty of time-stamped documents that I am willing to provide to support my claims. Banning an individual who has not broken any game rules due to a negative review is completely unfair and does, in fact, show that you do NOT respect everyone’s right to review your app.

Good riddance.

### 5/5 — Love this app

Tick tock is the best. Love playing this game all day.
