## What is TickerKey?

TickerKey turns your keyboard into a stock-research tool. Type a ticker in Messages, Notes, email, or social, and the live price appears without leaving what you’re doing.

The companion app is where you go further: talk to an AI analyst, follow your portfolio, and turn any chat into a PDF you can actually send.

FROM YOUR KEYBOARD
• Type a ticker and the live price shows up as soon as it appears
• Tap for the breakdown: technicals, fundamentals, sentiment, and a buy, hold, or short call
• Ask pill: tap it, type a question, and the answer lands in the suggestion bar
• Swipe typing (experimental) learns the words you actually use and gets better the more you type
• Charts, news, and analysis sit on top of the conversation you’re already in

IN THE APP
• Chat: ask about a stock and get an answer from a 14-agent engine covering technicals, fundamentals, order flow, options flow, ETF flow, insider activity, sentiment, risk, and market regime. QuickTake boils it down to a 30-second bull case, bear case, and verdict.
• Holdings: positions, total value, and P&L. Sector mix, stats, streaks, milestones, and a portfolio scorecard.
• Watchlist: the names you care about, one tap away.
• Scan Brand: point the camera at a product or logo, and it takes you to the stock.
• KeyGents: playbooks that walk you through a full workup on any name.

NEW: EXPORT YOUR RESEARCH AS A PDF
Turn a chat into a report. Choose what goes in: the analysis cards, a live price snapshot, your portfolio with a sector-allocation chart, or the full 14-agent breakdown and verdict. Light or dark, add your name, then share or save it. Useful if you want a record, want to send someone your take, or just want to look back later.

ALSO INSIDE
• Price alerts
• Morning Brief
• Keyboard and app stay in sync

TickerKey is for people who want the research without switching apps. US-listed stocks only.

Important: TickerKey is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not investment advice, and prices and signals may be delayed. Always do your own research before making any financial decision.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.2 — 2026-08-27

A full redesign and a new way to share what you find.

The new look. Every tab has been reworked for cleaner spacing, clearer
hierarchy, and stronger contrast, in both Light and Dark. The navigation bar is
now a frosted glass capsule that lets your content show through.

Today is one feed. Your watchlist, your trades, and the market news now flow
together, newest first. Each story reads as a post - tap the star to follow a
ticker, the target to run the analysis, the bookmark to keep it.

Share a story as a card. Sharing now builds a TickerKey card: the company's
logo and colours, a live chart, the day's open, high and low, and a one-line
read on what it means. It goes out as an image with the link, so the story
stays credited, and the card speaks for itself.

Saved stories. Bookmark anything worth returning to. Saved stories also appear
on that ticker's own page, so the reading you did last week is waiting when you
need it.

Fixed
- Headlines no longer repeat the publisher's name or show stray characters
- News cards fit the screen properly on every device
- Chart percentages follow the time range you picked, not just today
- Suggestion pills on the keyboard are no longer clipped in Light mode
- Buttons and links on sheets are readable again in Light mode

TickerKey now also tells you when a new version is out. iOS only updates apps
on its own over Wi-Fi with automatic updates on, and a keyboard you type into
every day shouldn't quietly fall months behind.

### 3.1 — 2026-08-19

A cleaner, clearer app.

Guided tour
New to TickerKey? A short tour now points out each part of the app on your first run. You can replay it any time from Settings, About, Take the App Tour.

A brighter, clearer design
Cards now sit clearly above the page, the boxes you type into are easy to find in light mode, corners and colours are consistent across every screen, and the tab bar floats over your content.

Holdings, sector bars now match their numbers
In Portfolio by Sector, each bar now matches the percentage printed beside it, so a holding at 33 percent fills about a third of the width.

Fixes
Watchlist logos no longer disappear after a burst of lookups. The TickerKey name on the first launch screen is fully readable again.

### 3.0 — 2026-08-15

Learn the market as you read
A new Learn row appears under chat answers, showing the metrics that the answer mentions, such as RSI, Beta, P/E, and Sentiment. Tap one to open a short explainer: a plain-language definition, a visual scale that shows what counts as low, neutral, or high, and a quick worked example. It opens over your chat, so you keep your place while you learn.

Sharper custom screens (Premium)
The Build Your Own screener now gives you every value an indicator uses, such as period and standard deviation, each with its valid range. Your scans are as precise as you want, and out-of-range values are corrected before a scan runs.

Smoother sign-in
If your session expires as you start a scan, the app now sends you to sign in and right back, instead of leaving you stuck.

Plus performance and polish across chat and screens.

### 2.9 — 2026-08-05

This update makes everything feel more polished and reliable.

Fixes
• News stories now open every time you tap them.
• When adding a ticker, logging a trade, or building a KeyGent, every search result responds to your tap, not just the last one.
• The keyboard's Full Access banner now spells out exactly how to turn it on and takes you straight to Settings.

Polish
• A cleaner, brighter light mode.
• Company logos across your watchlist.
• A redesigned news row on the Home tab.

Thanks for using TickerKey. Have a question or an idea? We read every note.

### 2.8 — 2026-08-02

A fresh coat of paint, inside and out:
• New light mode: ink blue on cool paper, with every screen checked for readability
• Company logos across your watchlist, holdings, and news
• A redesigned Home tab: swipeable news cards, and your tickers stay pinned as you scroll
• Smoother onboarding and a keyboard banner that now takes you straight to Settings to enable Full Access

Plus smarter KeyGents: build scans with indicator crossovers, and two new one-tap templates. Paper trading keeps your cash and positions perfectly in sync.
