That means you can’t use the app to buy tickets. It doesn’t make sense that you need this step for registration! Hopefully this is fixed soon. ### 1/5 — Short man syndrome for the bus ticket police *2024-06-05, version 11.2.1* Tried to purchase a ticket multiple times on the app (after no help from bus driver with regards to how to buy a ticket through him). By the time I did, there was a ticketing officer getting on the bus who had short man syndrome so needed to feel superior by fining me €50 as I didn’t purchase the ticket when I first entered the bus (173 from Verona)… even though I did purchase a ticket. Incredibly rude to tourists. ### 1/5 — SMS verification doesn’t work for foreigners *2024-05-30, version 11.2.1* Instead of sending an SMS verification, the app could easily send the verification thru email instead. So now we can’t take a bus that is the only mode of transportation to a reservation. Completely pointless to even require creating an account to use this app. But like my experience with most other Italian logistics, it’s very a very similar experience. I was able to create accounts for all of them except this one. They should allow SMS code to be sent to email address. Annoying because the app sends an email informing you that you’ve started the process but need to enter the code. I tried numerous times but it won’t send me a code to my mobile to complete the registration. I am from the uk and entering a uk mobile number. This little app was brilliant. We could easily buy bus tickets and check the buses/times/stops for the places we were travelling to. Although the app does give directions to bus stops, we found google maps to be a little easier to follow. It gives cheaper fares than buying on the bus and allowed us to check timetables (when we got used to it). However you cannot create an account and therefore you cannot buy a ticket on the app with a number outside of Italy as it doesn’t send you a confirmation code ever.
