Kept crashing. Finally paid and no indication that I have bought anything. No confirmation email, nothing in the app to show I did anything or that I have purchased a ticket. Guess I’ll just wait and see if I have a ticket or not. What a load of garbage. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-07-29, version 3.3.6* I’m wondering if anyone from Ticketek even reads these reviews or they just hide knowing their app is the worst in the entire world? I literally could not buy AFL tickets because choosing seats is so glitchy on the app. I had to go onto the website and even then it showed level 2 seats available but I couldn’t purchase them so I log out and log back in and who would have thunk, level 2 seats are available and I could purchase them! I just had it time out 3 times with no tickets even though my payment went through. Honestly the 6min time isnt long enough, since every page takes 2mins to load by the time im entering my details the session has timed out. What doesnt help is that the screen goes blank and doesnt allow me to click make payment after choosing payment method. Do better. ### 1/5 — A technical bug ruined my pre-sale experience and cost me the opportunity to buy good seats. *2026-07-23* I had a very disappointing experience during the pre-sale. After waiting in the queue for a long time, I finally got through, only to find that there was no purchase button. I initially thought it was an issue on my end, so I waited for quite a while. Later, I checked social media and discovered that many other users were experiencing the exact same bug. I kept refreshing the page, and it took around 20 minutes before the purchase option finally appeared. By then, most of the good seats were already gone, and I wasn’t able to get the tickets I wanted. The whole point of joining the pre-sale queue early is to have a fair chance at buying tickets. A bug like this completely defeats that purpose. Ticketek should have addressed the issue immediately or paused the queue until it was fixed, instead of leaving affected customers to figure it out themselves. Very frustrating experience. My iPhone keyboard covers the “forgot password” link (which is correct and updated) and continuously tries to retrieve the newly created password using the iPhones saved passwords feature. This is false advertising of apparently ‘refundable’ tickets, as when I put through a request I was immediately denied as it was not a valid reason according to them. Adding to this- any circumstance that is listen in their refund policies requires literal documentation, which in the case of a dear verbatim asks for a death certificate, proof of relationship to the deceased etc. This is an invasion of privacy and is complete false advertisement. The worst part is that if they don’t like your answers, they can keep your money despite paying extra for a refundable ticket. I got a few members to help in the queue and a family member succeeded to get 2 tickets !
